Did not buy here, but I found this same oem rack a little cheaper direct from a loxal dealer with free shipping code. Not sure how Toyota could screw up something so easy as a roof rack, but they really messed up on this one. The windnoise is horrible with the crossbars deployed, making the rack virtually worthless.. The bars are also too far apart to run a cargo box. I did figure out a workaround. I ended up getting the Amazon basics universal crossbars and just use the stowed oem rack bars as a platform to run the Amazon bars. No more wind noise and now you can fit a Thule cargo box over the cab. They dont look perfect since they are universal, but they are easy to put on and take off if you want. If you are set on one of these racks, do buy the oem not a knockoff. The knockoffs are garbage. I did buy one of the ripoff imitations at first and it was just a horrible expereince. After lots of research, I got this oem rack and installed it with all replacement stainless hardware instead of the oem stuff. I also used neoprene rubber fender style washers instead of the oem mastic foam junk. And 3m autobody sealant in the holes under the washers and all over the threads during installation. Good torque on everything is about 110 inch lbs. But only 50 inch lbs on the crossbar pivots. Double check the pivot mount square nuts with o ring are very secure before putting everything together. Maybe take the nuts out and squeeze the plastic retainer tabs a little to hold it in place better. One of those pivot mounting nuts fell out on me on the right side which comes unattached and I already had everything bolted in place with sealant all over everything and those yellow plastic retainer things are not designed to be removed and reinstalled much. The front brackets did not need to be bent down like I read other people instruct. Mine only needed to be bent back down because I had to pry the right side off and reinstall that pivot mount nut and oring. I could easily do the install in 30 minutes now, but be real careful if it is your first time even if you are handy. The front brackets are a pain to line up if you run the back bolts first. Just barely thread up the 2 that attach the front brackets first then everything else and all will go together nice. ... show more

This Toyota roof rack part did not include hardware to install. Had to return and buy one at the dealership which was $40 cheaper.

This rack came with 0 hardware and it was scratched bent broken and snapped. my mistake for buying something used, will never do that again. But even if this was brand new, I would never recommend the cheap build quality. This would not hold a 10 lb bag, read the reviews. Don't buy!
