** 4-MONTH UPDATE ** I have placed this rug under my kitchen table, where there is a lot of foot traffic from the entryway door (shoes are a no-no) and two small fur-babies. Remarkably, the rug appears exactly as it did on the day I first laid it down. It is thick, durable, and the edging is expertly crafted. The overall quality and craftsmanship are truly exceptional. I have attached photos taken under various lighting conditions and with different levels of zoom so that you can get a better visual representation of the rug up close. Currently, the 5x7 rug is priced at $240, which is an unbeatable price for a high-quality wool rug. RECOMMENDATION: Thumbs Up – The rug uses a circle tufted style and you tupically only see in handmade rungs like this one. THE GOOD: 1. This rug is completely hand made and 100% wool, so should last a very long time. 2. The rug is technically low pile since it uses a tufted style, but it is thicker than other low pile rugs. 3. The rug looks good in an understated but modern/contemporary way. 4. There is no built-in rubber backing (as is typical on higher-end rugs) so you may want to pair it with a rug pad. Those are cheap and readily available on Amazon. 5. The edging is substantial and blends in well with the overall rug. 6. I love the idea of this rug, and the quality is very good! The medium gray looks really chic, masculine, and soft, and the texture is such a vibe. I don't really like how it feels, though, and it's so thick that it's weird under furniture legs. Also, if the tufts separate, it looks messy and you can see white showing through. Extremely well made rug, and now that I've gone wool, I don't think I can ever go back! It's much softer than I imagined, and nice and thick. It lays perfectly flat. For the beige color it has a little more grey tone s than I was expecting, but it looks beautiful on my light oak wood flooring. I cannot say enough good things about this rug I loved it the second I unwrapped it. I was a little concerned it would be a scratchier wool and I could not be more pleased with how soft this is. The wool is soft and comfortable, it's very pleasant to walk on due to how cushy it is. The rug isn't itchy at all either. I've layed on this with bare arms and legs and wasn't itchy at all. The colors are also much better in person, the wool is mostly beige with some other colors streaking through it which looks very nice. I was worried it'd be a solid color without dimension but not the case. I love that this is all wool with cotton backing. Natural fibers are exactly the type of rugs we should bring into our homes. It was packaged so well. We had rain and I was concerned it would get wet during delivery. This has 2 layers of thick plastic which fully protected it. I haven't noticed much shedding, I know some wool rugs shed a lot but that's not the case with this one. I think the way it's woven helps that. I high recommend this rug and the company due to my experience. I will likely be buying more rugs from them myself. TLDR: beautiful soft wool rug. Just get it ... show more

Our search is finally over! We have been searching for years for a good quality living room rug and we found it with this beauty. Bless the delivery driver, because this rug is HEAVY when rolled up. I can’t say enough about the quality and craftsmanship. You can tell right away, by the feel and look, that this is a well made rug. My wife is very sensory and she loves the feel of the β€œbubble” weave. We ordered the brown rug and I was concerned it would be too dark. It wasn’t! It is a nice mix between tan, beige, and light brown. Perfect for a neutral base for a room. We decorate with hues of blue, grey, and cream. This rug blends beautifully!
