If you have a large inground pool, these skimmer baskets fit perfectly. Or at least they do on my swimming pool, it's a 30K gallon. The top handle makes them ideal to put in and take out without getting your hands in the water. I was so excited to get them today.     • Great for high wind areas
Bought this basket cause I live in a high wind area. When the wind is active I have to clean the basket everyday. That mean sticking my hand in the freezing water and cleaning it so the pump continues to run at an optimal level. This basket has the high tower which allows the pump to continue working even when the basket is completely full. It also allows you to pull the basket up without having to reach into the skimmer, keeping your hand out of the water. Great basket, would definitely recommend it to anyone who hates having to plung their hand into the water to retrieve their basket or those who live in an area where their basket fills up rapidly. ... show more

    • Restocking fee of $20 for a $22 item
I ordered this to replace the skimmer for my pool. Although it looks identical, it did not fit into the appropriate slot. I tried to return it, and was very surprised that there is a restocking fee that is nearly the same price as the item itself.

    • Great upgrade!
Like everything: no digging through debris to find a handle ( often missing or broken), holds more stuff without clogging ( more surface area), no getting on your knees to lift it out. Also I found that putting a few pebbles into the tower before installing means the basket stays seated properly.
