    • Good Skimmer Basket For Lots of Leaves
This is my second one. The first one lasted a little over 2 years before splitting. If you get a lot of leaves in the fall this basket is wonderful. It keeps the strain off of the pump between emptying the basket.

    • Best skimmer basket I've found
I've bought several skimmer baskets over the years but no other has fit as well or has been so sturdily built. As soon as I unpacked it the quality was obvious. The plastic, including the mesh, was much thicker than any I have ever had. My only concern was the size. Previous baskets left a slight gap where it seats on the rim of the skimmer itself. Turns out that this one fits perfectly without any gap that might let small leaves past. I love it and will be buying again when my other skimmer basket fails. ... show more

    • I highly recommend this skimmer basket
Our old skimmer broke so I took a risk and order this one. We have had it over a year now and absolutely love it. Having the middle piece stick up is great so we don't have to go down on our knees to pull the basket out every week for cleaning. I have not noticed any part of it getting brittle like some of the cheap ones do. Product is good quality and great price to make life a little easier. ... show more

    • Nice Skimmer basket
I only rated this 4 stars because it's still new and the jury is out on how long it will last. However from what I observe so far, this skimmer basket definitely has the potential to be a 5 star product. So here is my review. Received the skimmer basket and opened the box. In the box is the basket, the tower, and a metal rod of 1/4 inch diameter x 6 inches long. There are no instructions and I have no clue what the metal rod is for. Maybe it will come in handy on some other project? LOL..... Anyways, the tower is threaded and screws into the mold at the bottom of the basket. The tower is at least a foot long, maybe more. I like it. The tower relieves me of fooling around with a skimmer angel like I've been doing for several years. The basket seems of good quality and is thicker than the material of other baskets I have bought. I really like this thing. I hope it lasts for a couple years or more, but if not, I would buy this one again. ... show more

    • Not an honorable
1 star is very generous! I received the basket is a small bag with the top sticking out of it. When I opened it, the bottom of the basket was cracked. Although the coat was over $20, I can receive $2 and some change to return it! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

    • Works as advertised
This is a replacement for an old basket. Good weight that keeps it in place.

    • Great Solution
While I don't know how long this one will last because I haven't had it long enough I can tell you that it solves a problem that I have had for a long time. In the fall leaves clog the basket before I can get back to empty the skimmer. My neighbor's trees are the culprit and the leaves are huge 10" across leaves that line the basket edge. The suction of the pump is so strong that the old style baskets only last a few weeks before they crack. This basket leaves a small one inch hole that relieves the pressure allowing the basket to fill with more but not clog. Seems to be made well and fits the skimmer fine. In fact, the tower is great for reaching in and getting the basket because it acts like a handle. Nice and well thought out design. ... show more
