It's light weight and has a remote control so I don't have to go up and down stairs to start or stop it. The only drawback is the plastic is light weight and not on very durable. This is extremely powerful fan. I bought it for my room but I cannot exceed lowest speed. It better suits a larger area. Remote/fan features eco mode which turns off LED display which is amazing because at night it gets pretty bright.
