    • Sturdy, classy- looking lamp, dimmable bulb included!
This was exactly what I was looking for! Yea!! Very sturdy lamp for a smaller-type bedside lamp, thanks to the deceptively heavy base. Simple and classy looking. Doesn’t look like it belongs in a dorm room like some of the other lamps like this. Don’t forget to unscrew the retainer ring on the lamp socket before placing the shade on top...you need to screw the retainer ring on after you position the shade to stabilize it and hold the shade onto the base (there were no instructions to do this and at first it wasn’t intuitive to me, so it took a couple minutes to figure out). I purchased a round-type style lamp with a silver base from a different company for a more feminine bedroom that I am redecorating, and although it was also very nice and had 3-levels of touch control as well; the base was not very heavy and it didn’t come with a bulb (I ordered dimmable 60 watts bulbs for it, but it was an extra step that could have been avoided by simply including the bulb, like this company did !!). The bulb that came with this delightful little lamp was slightly unusual looking and very nice! It came screwed into the base in the box, so no danger of breaking during shipment. One, two, three...., easy, breezy, couldn’t be simpler. I haven’t tried it out long term yet, but so far......I love it!! ... show more

I went out on a limb and ordered two of these lamps to set on either side of our couch. I have to say they are worth it! They were easy to set up and the touch control is enjoyable compared to hunting for for a small knob in the dark. For the price it is very well made. They are beautiful to look at and tie the room together. They are rather small as I had read and expected but that's exactly why I wanted them. One thing I didn't realise is that the base is a deep chocolate brown, which is not a draw back for me at all. The three brightness levels are noticeable and the lowest setting is perfect for lounging about in the evening. The higher settings make this a great bedside reading lamp. Overall: I received two well packed lamps that are: easy to use, have a simple modern design, are made well, work great with our room, didn't break the bank. ... show more

    • Cozy Little Lamp
I must say I quite like this little lamp. I love the look especially. It just adds this warm and cozy feeling to a room that I absolutely adore. I'm also falling in love with the touch feature of the lamp. Just a few quick taps to select your preferred brightness and you're set. No more fumbling with switches or buttons. Now, there are a few things however that I didn't like about this lamp. First, like other reviewers here, the lampshade came just a little bent. It sat just a little crooked on the base. I was able to bend in back into place without too much hassle but it was annoying to be sure. The other thing was the included light bulb. It was nice of them to include one but man it was dim, at least for my needs anyway. The included bulb works better as a night light than something to light up a room. Even so upgrading the bulb to something brighter was no trouble at all. Just make sure you get an led bulb that's dimmable and you're golden. This lamp is a good buy. It has a soft, warm glow on its lower two settings. It could be used either for ambiance or for a night light. On its brightest setting, it could be used as a desk light. It is very cute and versatile. The touch part is just sensitive enough that it only requires a gentle touch to change its brightness. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

**UPDATE** After posting my initial review, the company reached out to me and sent me a replacement lamp. This one is sturdy and exactly what I was expecting. So glad they reached out! This lamp has the look I wanted but it’s a little shoddy. The three settings are okay, but 2 and 3 are really similar. It wobbles when you touch it, and it blinks a lot. I expected better for what I paid but I’m keeping because it looks nice and I don’t need to use it very often this time of year. It comes with a light bulb, which is a plus. ... show more

    • Simple, Subtle, Good value, performs well.
Bought one, then another, and a third. Use them at two locations. Family visitors love 'em, as we do. IMO, the illumination is comfortably free of harsh LED diode illumination. Has a soft glow at all three levels of indoor guided safety lighting needs. IMO, not for large rooms or as a reading light. I must mention the improved Low K scale of newer LED illumination is by far easier on the eyes and much much safer than the CFL bulb science once pushed on us as our greener future, by our leaders. CFL lighting may emit much less heat, but a broken one is said to require a HAZMAT cleanup process, particularly when broken indoors. Read up on it, and why OSHA does not allow the manufacture of CFL bulbs in the USA. It's not only an economical labor issue, they are an environmental hazard to make, use, and dispose.
