The pipe connecting to the tank leaked and my entire house is flooded. Damage is over $10,000. I think other reviews also mentioned the same problem. Luckily, I do have home insurance. I contacted TOTO customer service several times for replacing the product or pipe. It's within warranty time (less than 1 year). But no response. Finally, below is the reply from TOTO: "thank you for taking the time to contact us as we value your decision of choosing TOTO. Looks like the water line may have been over tighten but from picture I can not tell where the leak really is so maybe suggest replacing the water line and junction valve. Parts 11 and 12." That's it. I waited for the response to write this review in case they can take care of it, but apparently not. So if you don't want to waste hundred of bucks, ruin your home, bare construction for months. Do not consider this product. Please review the picture for the defect part and what my home looks like due to it. Hopefully this could be helpful to you. ... show more

This thing is amazing. The only qualm I have, which is pretty major, is that it doesn't remember the location for the duvet. I'm a pretty big guy 6'2 230 so i need to back it up all the way to use it otherwise it just shoots water at my balls. Its kind of annoying to have to adjust the duvet on every single use. Also, the seat is very small-- a few inches shorter than a normal ovular toilet seat. I pretty much have to scoot to the front too avoid pooing on the seat, rest my donger on the front of the seat and then scoot back drop my junk down when i wanna pee. I couldn't even imagine trying to use the round version. If it was just a few inches longer and had a memory setting/ remembered the last use setting ti would be perfect. ... show more

*please scroll down to find important INSTALLATION hint* After spending time in Japan, we got so accustomed to these toilets, we had to buy one when we got back home. Toto is the brand of toilets you will find all over Japan. They are everywhere, even at train stations and restaurants. We didn't even consider another brand. The installation would have taken us only 20 minutes if we knew the HELPFUL HINT written below. My husband spent 3 hours in two different stores thinking he needed some sort of a adapter, only to find this: IMPORTANT INSTALLATION HINT: "The Washlet comes with an adapter that connects directly to the toilet tank on the fill valve stem. Then you reconnect your water supply hose. Many people were getting confused, thinking that the adapter went directly onto the water supply valve from the wall. This is because the instructions illustrate two different installation methods based on what country you are in. The installation is actually very simple as long as your toilet properly accommodates the dimensions of the Washlet." I wish we knew that right away!! We wouldn't have to spent hours driving around the city, going to plumbing supplies stores looking for something we don't need... Good luck! This is a great product! ... show more

There is so much good to say about this product, it's hard to pick where to start. As a bit of background, I first used a bidet at work. The bathroom for our area has the TOTO Washlet S350e Elongated Bidet Toilet Seat with Auto Open and Close and ewater+ Sanitization, Cotton White - SW584#01 installed. And while I will not be doing a direct comparison of this product to the S350e, I can tell you that the C100 has all the features that really matter. We decided to purchase one for our home at the suggestion of our pediatrician as an aid for one of our children who has battled constipation for a while. Having used the TOTO brand at work, and witnessing the quality of the product, it was the only brand I would consider for the house. The C100 comes in at a nice price point for the features that you get. Yes, there are some brands that offer slightly more for less, but the familiarity of the TOTO brand was important to me. I don't see a need to cover every feature since they can be read in the product spec, but I feel it is important to mention that this unit comes with two types of rear washes. One is a "regular" rear cleaning which is a more direct water stream, and the other is a soft rear, which fans the water out slightly more than the regular rear cleaning. Both can have oscillation enabled at the touch of a button, and the nozzle can easily be adjusted forward or backward depending on your body type. The regular rear cleaning, combined with the oscillation is the one that can help those with constipation issues. Both the soft and regular give a solid clean, but I feel it worth mentioning in case anyone needs it for this purpose. Overall, the unit installed very quickly. Everything needed to plumb the unit was included and the directions were fairly clear. After a few times using the unit, you'll be able to operate the controls without a glance, which is nice since there is no remote to lose or drop/break. Because the unit attaches to a base plate that installs on the toilet, it's very important that you do not wiggle back and forth on the seat. Don't get me wrong, you can adjust yourself, but if you have children that move around a lot, you may want to consider installing this on a toilet they don't have access to. Also, because of the angle of the seat, there is a weight limit of 250lbs (call TOTO support to confirm). Overall, this is a great unit. You get all the main features, warm water, multiple cleaning options, heated seat, adjustable water pressure, wand position, seat and dryer temperature. I've always felt that I'm clean after using it, and it's helped improve my child's issue. Once you get one of these, you'll never want to use a regular toilet again. ... show more
