Not at all happy with the product. I have used many other sandwich makers but this one leaks all the filling and does not seal the sandwich even when it is not that filled. It makes whole product dirty and it gets difficult to clean. Seller isn’t helpful either for troubleshooting. Not at all recommended.

I've always wanted one of these. It never made sense why I had to have a separate machine for each task. The pictures above show how it works in sandwich and grill modes. The waffle maker and griddle are pretty much self-explanatory--we've all made waffles at the hotel buffet--but to me, the grill was the most curious. Would it cook a thick pork chop all the way through? Turns out 1200W is more than enough. When our BBQ ran out of gas unexpectedly, I threw the chops onto the machine instead of changing tanks and I used my digital meat thermometer to check it. The grill plates did the job perfectly. The sandwich maker inserts, however, have a tendency to really really flatten the bread if you're using the regular old grocery store variety white bread. You'll want a thicker slice and/or a sturdier bread for best results. That said, it does the job. Mind you, you could also use the griddle plates for a thicker sandwich OR you can use the grill plates if you want it to have those panini marks that have been trendy for a while. Our older child has already asked for one when she goes off to university. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Received the 4 in 1 waffle maker and grill as a Christmas gift and was excited to start making my own waffles. I read a few reviews but was open minded and tried searching a product web site for details and recipes... there was none. I started easy with a grilled chicken & cheese panini which was disappointing. it just did not crisp the lightly buttered bread and the cheese ran out all over the sides while cooking - check one confirmed review. There was also a nasty electrical burn off smell during cooking (during both cooks) check another confirmed review. I gave it one more attempt with waffles and the same outcome, the waffles did not get crispy even after 12 minutes of cooking (instructions say 5-7 minutes) - check off another review I read. I had to finish the waffles in a toaster over to get the texture i wanted. Sorry Total Chef but this is a total waste of money
