  • Sturdy and easy to install
Style: Non-drilling
Bought this thing for my cross country move from AK to TN! Good memories were made and that was in part because this ladder rack was a spur of the moment purchase (because it was affordable) and worked flawlessly! I had 2 large kayaks and 2 mountain bikes on top. I custom fabricated a couple of mounts that I bolted on and anchored everything to so I didn't lose a kayak at 65mph. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of Installation and it helped me get everything down to TN and save a fortune on shipping large items. This purchase paid itself off and was much better quality than I had thought before buying it. ... show more

  • Honda Ridgeline
Style: Non-drilling
To make it fit on a Honda Ridgeline, I had to cut a half inch off the J bolt. Easy to assemble. Easy to disassemble. The quality of paint is questionable, not perfect, it does scratch easily. The set screws started to rust on the first day, not sure what to do about that. For $108, it is a really good value. It holds secure, I've driven hundreds of miles going freeway speeds and it is pretty sturdy. For the clamps to grip, you have to spread the top bar as wide as you can make it before tightening the set screws with an Allen wrench. If you do that, it will never come off. Great value! I've used it to carry long pieces of metal, I really like the tie downs and L shaped bar at the top. It is quite functional. It really increases the versatility of the truck. As far as aerodynamics, my fuel consumption is about the same, 21mpg. I didn't notice any wind noise or anything out of the usual by having these installed. ... show more

  • Good rack for the price
Style: Drilling
Delivered in good condition. The install is fairly easy, drilling some holes for the mounting bolts. I did have to run a tap in some threads for fasteners to be installed with out stripping them. Seems sturdy.

  • Great Ladder Rack
Style: Non-drilling
I was interested in a simple ladder rack that was easy to install/remove and did not require any drilling into my truck. This ladder rack ticked all the boxes. Coming in just over $100, I feel I got a great product that supersedes my expectations. It came packaged very carefully and tidy. All the necessary parts were there, and the nuts and bolts were bagged nicely. The rack was super easy to install. No drilling required, the j-bolts hold securely to the side of the truck bed. The rack adjusts to fit many different dimensions so I had no problem assembling it on my Dodge Ram. I am impressed how secure each leg of the rack is. I can’t do too many, but I can do a few pull-ups on the crossbar and it feels secure. I can travel down the highway and nothing moves. The ladders ride great on top, and the rack comes with a few tie-down areas. I wouldn’t hesitate putting kayaks, canoe, paddle boards, lumber, or a host of other items up there. If you’re looking for a simple rack that is easy to install and remove, performs well, and looks nice, this is a good choice. ... show more

  • Sturdy and Functional!
Style: Ladder Rack
Not difficult to install, but you do have to drill a couple holes, and take into account your truck’s specifics. I had to remove the tail light assembly to get a nut on the end of one bolt, straight up could not reach another one, and then I decided I could live with just one rack instead of two, because I’m resting my kayak on the roof anyway. I just don’t want to do that much drilling on my truck tbh. Structurally; don’t let the YouTube videos discourage you, people are just flopping the racks together and leaving them loose for convenience. You absolutely can tighten them up at every nook and cranny, where they will be as sturdy as a brick house. That’s what I prefer, so I threw the Allen wrench in my glove box for putting the rack up or down on the go. My favorite thing about them is that you can keep your tonneau cover. Huge plus! That’s the real reason I settled on this style rack. Take the top bar down, throw it in the bed and roll the tonneau back. No compromise being made here, and I think I’ll install the other rack on the left side of the truck. I mean let’s face it, at some point I’m probably going to get another kayak. lol. P.S. the instructions suck. The pictures are more helpful than the words. ... show more

  • No Drill Ladder Rack Does The Job.
Style: Non-drilling
This Ladder Rack is light duty and will last a long time if used with in its 800 lb. capacity. It is reasonably well made in China. Welds are just average just enough to do the job. Paint coating is average with a few nicks that will require touch up at a later time. Fit is great and fastening system using J bolts and square stock is good. 5 stars for price point and affordability. It carries a 28 foot extension ladder easily and I feel safe on the road doing so. Tie downs are provided and load shifting is a thing of the past. Im happy with this Vevor product. ... show more

  • !!Check the cross member welds on your set screws!!
Style: Non-drilling
Welds on the rack itself are not strong enough to ensure a snug assembly. You will want to throw some self tapping screws in for backup. Or thru-bolt them. I had one set screw that popped the nut of the cross member while driving. It wouldn't have been an issue as the rack does hold very tight to the truck but it’s one less thing to worry about. For light duty applications where you may need to haul a few ladders side by side, it’s totally capable. It’s a $100 rack, it’s worth the money if you’re in the market for something light duty. ... show more
