This is a definite upgrade from the slightly more affordable, original version of this neck fan. Or perhaps it wasn’t the original version but it was the original one I purchased. After owning it for one maybe two years I had issues with it and since I literally can’t live or work without it, I went to purchase another one and came across this. I’m a sucker for new technologies so I upgraded. Boy am I glad I did! This neck fan is amazing and so much better than the previous one I was using. It’s more comfortable to wear things to the bendable arms and it provides much more cooling. I work outside all day every day, all year long and where I live we get really hot summers and cold winters. This makes my job tolerable and survival in the summer when it’s 100° out and humid as heck. When the battery goes out I instantly notice a difference and have to charge it in order to be able to stay outside. I haven’t been able to try it out in the winter yet but I know it’s going to be amazing because I did try out the heat feature and it got hot, real hot quick. Not so hot that it would hurt or burn your skin, but a very comfortable warmth that is sure to keep you warm and toasty during the winter Especially if you’re outside or maybe in a cold warehouse or something. The battery lasts around three hours on max power, possibly 4. If you keep an extra battery pack handy you can always plug it in with the battery pack in your pocket and keep using this. It charges fully within an hour or two. Personally I don’t find this to be noisy at all. It does create a little bit of noise but it has never interfered with conversations, at least not for me. I did purchase one for my brother and he ended up returning it because he said it was too loud and drew too much attention when he would walk into buildings. Personally I think he was just being overly sensitive because I never noticed that, but to each their own. Also I don’t know who would ever fault you for trying to stay cool and not overheat and pass out in hundred degree humid weather, the very minimal noise of a tiny oscillating fan shouldn’t burden anyone. Then again he doesn’t like anyone looking at him when he’s doing his job so I guess it possibly drew more attention to him and he wasn’t down for that.

I’ve spent this last week using the Coolify Cyber Fiold neck AC and I would strongly recommend anyone to purchase this to stay cool this summer. I’m a large guy and summer and hot weather will normally have me sweating uncontrollably. But not with the Cyber Fold. For me I prefer using it at full AC power on a hot day. The problem at full power and the coolest level the battery will last you about 2- 2.5 hours. The secret to double or triple that duration is to also buy a power bank. The Cyber Fold works while it’s charging so if you keep a power bank in your left pants pocket and use the supplied three foot braided USB c cable with the angled end plugged into the Cyber Fold and the regular end in your power bank you can run it all day long. At the highest level the airflow is perfect to keep you cool all day. Even at full power the noise of the fan is noticeable but it doesn’t interfere with your AC heavenly cool. This is precision made high tech device that you’ll be asking yourself why didn’t I buy this sooner. Don’t let the premium price fool you. It’s worth the cost. It’s comfortable to wear and the weight is not noticeable. It works well and had consistent stability. If your like me and need that cool feeling on a hot day this is perfect. Also since it’s blade-less it won’t get caught in your hair or beard. But this is not just for hot days. This has a heating element that makes it perfect for cold days too. It’s a true portable AC unit that’s 100% hands free. Perfect for walking around theme parks or on the beach or use the heating element to soothe stiff and sore neck pain. Great for anyone. This is my favorite purchase I made this year so far. Update. This past 4th of July weekend I gave it a real working test. I needed to use it for five hours No problem you can attach a small power bank under you shirt into your pocket. No one will see it and it will extend the use of this device. Notice in my photos how it’s appears invisible behind my beard and collared shirt. Most important to note the large v pointed downward in the back of device should be tucked into your collar so you get that cool breeze going down your back. If you don’t have a beard it’s still fairly invisible. But the beard definitely helps.

In low humidity this thing is amazing. It doesn’t take much humidity for the cooling surface to start to warm up though and be less useful though. Still better than a standard neck fan. Battery life is ok. Price seems high. Would be five stars if it worked better in humidity.

This device is just ok. I put this device to test for maybe 20 miles of vigorous walking over a couple of weeks. In real-world conditions (European walking tour in 90/95-degree and full sun conditions) it significantly underperformed an under-shirt waist fan. I think it’s more about the form factor and engineering limits of the piezoelectric cooling plates than anything about the product itself. This thing is designed and built very well, is exceptionally sturdy and flexible, and has great controls. The problem is that the small fans simply aren’t that strong and can’t really be directed to blow on the sweaty parts of my face and head without positioning the cooling plates away from my neck. Even when the plates are in position against my skin, the efficiency of piezoelectric cooling is such that it just can’t keep up with high heat flux. It provided some minor comfort under high-heat conditions but don’t expect it to work as well as, say, a wet cooling cloth. I really appreciate the work that went into this device, and it performed considerably better in lower temperature conditions (80/85-degrees), where the cooling plates provided a lot of comfort until my body temperature adjusted to the environment. The one thing I didn’t try was wearing it under a broad-rimmed hat, which might have helped a bit with the local cooling.

I use this almost everyday in the warm/hot seasons (basically not winter by me). I haven’t tried the heat part yet. I used it while in my third trimester of my pregnancy and it was a life safer. It works best indoors, but can be used outdoors and the cold feature would be good for outdoors in the heat. I love all the different features, it’s pretty quiet, and the location of the fans. It’s the only one I could find that doesn’t pull in my hair. Others get caught on your hair repeatedly, like 10+ times a day, and it’s painful. It is on the more expensive side, but it’s worth every penny for the high quality you get. It also has an app you can use to change between fan speeds, and turning the cool or heating on/changing their levels. I’m sooo happy I got this!

I live in the extreme heat of the desert southwest. When I place the 2026 Cyber Fold Neck Air Conditioner (unit) on my neck and walk around, the cooling pads seem to get cold at first, but then seem to heat up. The Air flow from the unit is also inadequate to provide much relief. Otherwise, the build quality, and portability are good. Since the unit did not meet my expectations, I will not buy this again.

Ive been a fan of the coolify 2s and owning a cyberfold for about a nuymber of months, I can truly say Im cooler than ever. and my neck feels greatas a result. Let me explain,not only do the Ac units which work similar to the AC in your house chill you out but can be used particularly well as the temperatures can be used to reach really cold temps are amplified by the use of a worn unit such as the coolify. As such, you can use the Coolifys heat sink surfaces to cool the skin temps down to very cold temperatures which can be befincial for reducing inflammation and release muscle tension when used in combination with topical applications etc. As useful as it is therapeutically, its also is just a very useful tool to stay cool around the house or whilst hiking or even excercising! ( the unit fis to your neck with adjustable arms). Of course however you choose to use it the possibilities are endless Whether travelling, for cold therapy , or simply to meditate, the cooling possibilities are endless Thanks coolify

I tried it because of the glowing reviews. I need it for yard work which takes about 4 hours each time. The gadget was good for about 2 hours of AC then it was just a heavy dead weight around my neck because fan alone doesn’t help me. I replaced it with a $20 Ice Wraptor cooling bandanna neck wrap. It came with 6 flexible gel pack strips. Each gel pack strip lasts only 60 mins but I am getting 6 hours of very good cooling around my neck because I have 6 strips. The gel strips can be changed very easily and I can wrap the bandanna to cool the back of my head or fore head. It weighs only a few oz’s.
