  • Works Great and the service is great
Color: Jet Black
I work at a recycling plant and the building can regularly hit over 90 degrees. All we have are fans to help keep us cool as the building can not be air conditioned. I purchased a cheap neck fan at wal mart and it did an ok job of helping to evaporate the sweat on my face and ears but didn't really feel "cool". I watched a youtube video on neckfans and was looking for the best that money could buy and this neck fan got the best rating of the bunch. I decided to give it a shot and I am, foe the most part, very happy with thr purchase. Starting off with the good. It actually does cool. The rear neck area can get very cold and give you a cooling feeling while wearing it. The fans help to push cool air around your neck and face. So unlike a regular neck fan where it just moves air around this thing will actually move cold air around. The difference isn't night and day but it does help make the long 12 hour shifts in the michigan muggy heat feel a bit better. I would say its worth the asking price for this alone. It can also be charged while in use so having an external battery gets me through my long days. It's also fairly quiet but distance conversations can sometimes be hard to hear. Now for the not so good or bad. It will only last about 2 hours. They claim up to 3 hours on the highest setting but the best I have gotten is 2 hours and 20 minutes. This is why I have to carry an external battery pack, with a 3 foot usb c cable running inside my shirt and down to my pocket so I can keep it going all day. I wouldn't really say it's "bad" considering how well it works but I wouldn't mind a little heavier if it meant a longer charge. It will suck in dust. I noticed lower air flow after about a months use and had to blow all the dust out of it. I guess this all depends on where you work. I had a unit failure after about 2 full months of use. It wouldn't power on but was getting current from a charger. I emailed torrass and to my surprise they responded fast and sent out a replacement. The replacement works good so far so I will have to update this if I have anymore issues. I do have to wonder if sweat of condensation can get into the circuitry and damage it but I'm not sure. Abby was very nice and sent me out a new one fast. I'm 6 foot tall and it feels just right but my wife can't stand wearing it as she says it's too bulky and she cant move her neck very well so keep in mind it's rather large and it did get the people at my work chuckling till they seen how much more comfortable I was at work. Overall I love it. I haven't used the heat feature yet so I will try it when it gets colder outside. It works especially well when you have a fan on you as well. ... show more

  • Top notch but not a spacesuit
Color: Jet Black
I’ve driven a concrete truck for 35 years, 34 in Las Vegas, I wish I’d have had this years ago it will prolong my life. It doesn’t make me feel like I’m in my air conditioned cab, if you need that buy a spacesuit, but it makes the extreme heat bearable, it works better when I’m in the shade and as far as battery life I do recommend getting a power bank if you’re using the cooling feature at a high level as I do. Charges fast after the initial charge and the case is really nice and provides great protection. The device itself is top notch and stays on my neck and is very comfortable, I’ve seen complaints that it’s heavy if that’s the case for you lift some weights and eat some meat or something I don’t even notice it. Very ergonomic and great for exercise, golf or hunting and camping or just chores around the house. Five stars from me. ... show more

  • The coolest Coolify!
Color: Jet Black
First off, let me say I work at a metals factory that is NOT climate controlled, so temperatures get dangerously hot in the summertime. Having cooling devices are a must, not only for safety, but just to be productive, because who wants to work in hot, humid weather? I choose the Coolify line of products from Torras Life to help me stay (relatively) cool in the summer. I own two other Coolify products, the Coolify 2 and Coolify 2S. The Coolify Cyber, although the most expensive model, does offer the best cooling of the 3 models. It also provides the most airflow. It is bulkier and a little heavier, and isn't as flexible as the other 2 models, but that's not to say it's uncomfortable - it's just a little more noticeable when wearing it versus the others. The extra cooling does come with a downside - it consumes more battery power, but luckily it has a bigger battery to offset the extra power consumption. So in my tests, it still gets about 3 hours of battery life at max cooling. But here's a tip: don't run it at max power, and here's why. The heat generated from the cooling plates has to go somewhere - in the case of the Cyber, that's the back of the unit. When running it at 100% for extended periods, the exhaust heat becomes noticable. Running it at roughly 70% still offers enough cooling to stay comfortable without the excessive exhaust heat. And as a bonus, you get longer runtime... I got around 4 hours at 70%. Although 3-4 hours of runtime isn't GREAT, as most people would agree that any battery powered device could have better runtime before needing recharged, the good news with the Coolify Cyber is it charges fairly quickly, but can also be charged while using - so if you have a power bank, you can easily keep it running longer. The noise level of the Cyber does not bother me at all, but that's subjective, so your opinion may vary. The Cyber has a high quality build, and has endured the extreme heat at work. It also pairs with their app, so you can more precisely control the cooling and heating intensity (yes it also offers heat for the winter or to help relax your aching neck muscles!), and fan speeds. Instead of just low, medium, and high, the app allows you to choose anywhere from 0-100%. It also offers AI Modes that adjust the output automatically based on the mode chosen. I will say, if you're looking for a cooling device for the outdoors, where there's plenty of airflow, not a hot, stuffy factory, one of the other Coolify products will probably be good enough, and easier on your wallet. But if staying cool is your priority, the Cyber is the way to go. ... show more

  • I hate this
Color: Jet Black
Is mine broken? I keep getting ads now for how it's a portable A/C with icy cold air and I call shenanigans!!! 1). This never gave anything but air and a hint of a neck cooling on the plates which could have just been the feel of the metal or my imagination. It was such a non-existent fleeting sensation. Again, almost like a hint of cold- even when inside with 75°F temperature It was not icy or cool or anything worth wearing. I could have got cooler from just letting neck sweat, evaporate and cool. One $5 cool scarf would have put this whole device to shame. 2) I didn't like their app, compared to the product support they have on their neck belt, this one is clunky the way they show you how to use it and the app itself is not worth it and it tracks your location. Who needs that? It didn't even have directions in English. It only had directions in one other language in the app. Why you need a separate whole app to just change which fan is blowing? Seems ridiculous. The app had several problems. It wouldn't allow me to create a login account, It would ask you for a password, a username and then send a code to your phone which then it locked up. I tried three different times and it took 35 minutes to resend each code that expires in less than a minute (!!) and doesn't work. That too was frustrating. I was never successful at creating an account and so I finally chose skip and just then saw the app and was very disappointed. 3) I cycled through all the options and I didn't see much change except which fan was blowing. It never got cool - let alone icy cold. Forget that idea. Again, is mine broken? Is it just a crappy fake product? I read all the reviews carefully and I want to explain that I use this in Phoenix, Arizona on an extremely cool, very windy spring day temp of 80°F to 83° Fahrenheit 26 or 27° C. The afternoon wind that was intermittently blowing was four times colder and cooler than what I was working with on the neck fan or the belt fan which I got both. This would never survive the 120° F heat ever. It would be a monstrosity to wear this and again you could just pack a cool scarf or two and you'd be in better shape than with this device. I'm glad we had a cool down here and I didn't try to use this with the real summer heat or it would have been the opposite of helpful. 4) It lasted approximately an hour on a full charge. 5) The ad stated that if you bought two devices you could save $60 to $80 but it was never clear where you would get this discount. I reached out to the company and a week plus later I got no response. I also tried with Amazon giving me a ticket, escalating the question how to get the discount that's shown on the listing and promising 24-hour escalation response but even a week later still no response. I tried again yesterday when I finally ordered it without the code and Amazon support told me to just don't worry they would fix it but they haven't fixed it. Still it's been 24 hours and they made me talk to over six different agents, ignored the initial ticket number that they gave me a week and a half ago, made me call in in the middle of the chat for no reason and then gave me another person to start over with - this was the worst buying experience that I've ever had on Amazon hands down. I still don't have the discount. I think that this should be advertised as a cooling fan. Nothing that says AC or icy cold air because it's just the same as if I put a little fan on my neck. 6) It has an intermittent buzzing staticky sound that comes on and off for minutes at a time, and if you are an audiophile, will not be fun. You will struggle to hear your music over this weird buzzing sound in addition to the fan noise. 7) I rarely get headaches and go years without headaches and this gave me a headache. Not just the whole experience and actual headache from the device that I made sure wasn't dehydration or anything because it went away after I took it off for a few minutes and then I hydrated 30 minutes later so it was definitely the device. ... show more

  • Disappointed and Overpriced , Not What You’d Expect
Color: Ivory
I really wanted to like the Coolify Cyber Portal neck air conditioner, but unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to the hype or the price tag. At first glance, it looks like a high-tech solution to staying cool, especially with all the promotional images showing air flowing from multiple slots. But here’s the truth, not all of those air slots are actually functional. Many of them are just for show, which is misleading and disappointing. What you’re really getting is a fancy looking neck fan with only three small aluminum cooling plates that give you a mild cool sensation, but it’s nowhere near the level of “air conditioning” you’re led to expect. It doesn't provide the kind of full, refreshing cool-down you’d want on a hot day. To be honest, there are far cheaper options that perform just as well, if not better. A quality neck fan combined with a micro-mist spray bottle will do a significantly better job at keeping you cool, and you’ll spend a fraction of the cost. Not only would that be more effective, but it's also a much better bang for your buck. Overall, I’m very disappointed in this product and others like it. It’s heavily overpriced for what little it actually does. Don’t be fooled by the sleek design and marketing images, this is not the cooling solution you’re hoping for. Do your wallet a favor and look elsewhere. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
Color: Jet Black
I work for the post office as a letter carrier in Texas, and the summers here are absolutely BRUTAL. Ive heard good things about neck cooling fans from friends so I did my homework. After I read the features on this model, specifically the COOLING features, and watching some product review videos with some competitors, I didn't hesitate to make the purchase. After the product arrived, I did a quick read through of the manual. Very easy to understand, interface is very straightforward. I've opted to not use the app at this time however, I see no reason for an app to need location information permission, especially in this context, which is unfortunate; there's an auto feature that's advertised to control temperatures based on various parameters. I suppose this was in response to the competitor, the ranvoo aice 3 having an "ai" feature that did something similar. I'm not sure from a technical standpoint how the hardware adjusts settings, that part seemed murky. Since it's just so hot outside for me anyway, not having the auto feature available without using the app isn't a deal breaker, I just set the cooler settings to max manually. Functionally, if you're wondering if this product actually "cools" then, yes, absolutely it does. When your outside in dramatic heat, youre clothes, hat, etc still feel hot, but that dramatic build up of intense body heat is dramatically reduced. For those who work outside for a living, you know that point when your body is just heat soaked and you need to stop and take a break somewhere cool, this product definitely helps your body maintain normal temperatures. When you get into a vehicle or building that has ac, this neck cooler will have a NOTICEABLE impact on how fast you recover. (You're still going to get hot, but it does help.) This thing is also pretty tight around your neck, but it does a good job of staying in place where you want it. Youre either adjusting it more for casual wearing comfort, or you might wear it in a more restrictive manner to get the cooling plates and the fans exactly where you can appreciate them more on a very hot day. If you have considerably large diameter neck, the fitment may bother you, and you might want to consider the larger Ranvoo. As far as recommendations, Id like Torras to consider coming out with with some kind of washable fabric liner. Obviously you want this to be as close to your skin as possible to appreciate the cooling effect, but where the cooling plates are in the inside collar, it's just smooth plastic, and it's in direct contact with your skin and there's no airflow for your skin to breath. Maybe in future iterations Torras can find a way to implement airflow so you don't feel like this thing is sticking to your neck but benefit from the cooling still. I haven't tested any other products in this category, overall, I say it does it's job well. I don't like the feeling it's sticking to your neck and I wonder if there's other products that have stronger fans (I almost have to wear it in such a way its hugging the bottom of my jaw to appreciate airflow to my ears where I'd prefer to have air to) but again, this is the context that you're outside in extreme heat anyway, with cooler temperatures you'll notice a nice, comfortable breeze surround your neck, face. If you're a professional working outside, hiking, doing yardwork in the summer, taking kids to an outdoor event all day, running errands and getting in and out of a hot vehicle constantly, this is a game changer, and you'll want to integrate this into your lifestyle. Especially with heat records constantly being broken. That being said, if it's a moderate to nice day out and you just want to use the fan, you'll have a long run time for all day use. Not many products in this category have a cooling feature and that comes at a price. You will want a power bank.. You'll get two hours on max settings, tops. I hope Torras continues to innovate in this space and approach it with the mindset that this is truly a wellness device. I doubt any other product in this category would hold up as well. ... show more

  • Coollify Cyber is awesome!
Color: Jet Black
I work outdoors with kids, and during the hotter months, the heat can get intense—humid, blazing, and downright exhausting. Staying cool isn’t just about comfort; it’s a necessity to keep up with the pace and stay safe under the sun. The Coolify Cyber might seem large but its barely noticeable around my neck. I actually thought it was a lot more compact than others I've used in the past. The cooling performance makes it worth it, especially when you're chasing after kids or supervising outdoor activities in the sun. Of course, that extra cooling power uses more battery. In my experience, it lasts about 3 hours on full blast. But here’s a pro tip: you don’t need to run it at 100% to feel the difference. At around 70%. I get around 1:30/2 hours of runtime with the neck cooling on low to med, but the good news is the Cyber charges quickly and can even be used while plugged into a power bank. That’s been a lifesaver on long days outdoors—I just toss a power bank in my bag, and I’m set for the whole day. As for the noise level, it doesn’t bother me at all, though that can vary by personal preference. What I really appreciate is the high-quality build. It’s held up well in heat and hectic days outside. Plus, it pairs with the Torras app but I haven't had much need in using it. And for winter? It can heat but haven't used that feature in this CA weather. If you’re looking for something for outdoor use where there’s usually some natural airflow, one of the other Coolify models might be enough—and they’re easier on the wallet. But if staying cool is your top priority, the Cyber is definitely the way to go. ... show more

  • Definitely does the job cooling but not without drawbacks
Color: Ivory
EDIT: the manufacturer did reach out to offer a full refund. I have since returned the Cyber and ordered their less expensive entry-level Torras cooler at $129. I appreciate that they took the time to read my review and offer resolution. Customer service like this is priceless! 2 stars because it actually does cool as described. I couldn’t be happier with that part. 3 stars off for sending me a returned item with no cord at all. I did receive the cardboard where the cord should go but that and some randomly scattered teardrop shaped papers inside the zippered case was it. Thankfully, the cooling fan already had enough of a charge on it to test to be sure it worked. And that it did. No complaints there. I suppose I should’ve noticed it was a return based on the way the case almost completely unzipped upon receipt. All videos I had watched to help me make a decision showed that the case zipped up each side and came down to the lower center of the case for closure. Fortunately the zipper does work once you get it to the proper sides. I did note 4 things that concerned me. 1) The bottom of the fan (underneath at the opening) was warm even when the air was set to cool. It seemed like a hot battery although I have no real concept of where the battery is located. The warmth came from both sides. While wearing, I didn’t notice it that much - only when I took it off. Seems odd to me. It would never have burned me but left me feeling it could counter the cool part. 2) The weight of the cooler/fan was much heavier than expected. If you have neck issues, I’d steer clear of this model. I will say that while wearing it outside, the coolness felt so good, I didn’t really notice the weight on my neck. Inside just sitting in a chair, it was really uncomfortable. The front arms rested somewhat on my collar bones when seated. Outside in an upright position, it wasn’t nearly as noticeable. 3) If you have dry eyes, anything more than the 30 setting on cool will drive you crazy. On the 30 setting, the air runs down your back more and the cool neck pad is simply perfection. On the 60 and 100 settings, the higher air flow immediately began to dry my eyes out. It seems I will never be able to use those higher settings or the cooling pads on the side for that reason. I wish there was a model with the cooling pad and fan at the neck without the high fan settings on the sides. Side cooling is a huge plus. 4) The way the settings are buried underneath, they’re extremely hard to find and adjust. Given the other issues, I would simply set it at 30 on the cool mode and never change it. Given that I’m returning this cooler/fan asap - in the condition it was sent to me - I didn’t bother to test the heater or the app. So I’m back to the drawing board on my research and likely won’t choose this brand again given the sloppy presentation of what I received. While my husband is returning, I’m back to watching online videos so I get a cooler/fan before the summer ends. Sure wish this had been “the one.” ... show more
