They honestly hit the lows better than the midbass. They hit lower than my Kicker CVR 12". The midbass kinda leaves more to be desired, if that's what you're looking for. If you're questioning these things; Just do it. I built a custom enclosure for 2 of these things under the back seat of my 24 silverado 2500 and have them powered by a pos 1200w audiopipe amp that I had given to me and wow. Just wow. Bought 2 for budget install in wifes car. Stitched cone at low price point is dope AF. Build quality is whack. One was decent the other had allen screws that werent screwed all the way/crooked between basket and motor dust cap glued in all crooked and the foam surround and rubber gasket where misaligned from the mounting holes in basket. Direct leads seem a little small for being 8 gauge as well as being sub par(suprised no one mentioned this) the strands keep falling out well after stripping and cleaning any accidental frays. Idk what thats all about. This is all mostly cosmetic though so on to the important stuff. Sound quality? Meh not the best but ok for the price. Do they hit? Why yes as a matter of fact they hit hard af for some 8s. Overall I'd reccomend for a work car or beater or something. Maybe even a road tripper. They aren't too bad I'm just very picky. Also probably shouldn't be saying this because I dont want to cause anyone to smoke their gear but these have no problem being overpowered on clean unclipped signal. They handle 2300rms daily like a champ. There goes my warranty 😂 Update its been about three months and they are still going hard every day. ... show more
