I'm running a single 8" in a ported box I built and whooooooaaaaaaa, this sub is a banger! I truly didn't expect much from this 8 as I couldn't find anything online about the company or the sub (minus a couple youtube videos about their 12). I'm curious if they have partnered with another company to build these subs because I'm pretty sure I've seen this exact sub from another company (cant think of name tho). Direct leads were also kind of interesting at this price point but over all, I will definitely be ordering my 3rd sub (I dropped the 1st one and shattered the basket, YIKES) and will run 2 of these in my Tundra. I purchased one of these June 27, 2020; along with a boss 1100m. Both have been absolute perfection, and still put out monster bass to this day. I built a ported box to manufacturer dimensions using 3/4 mdf. The port is a 4" piece of PVC, that I beveled the ends on. The subwoofer is an extreme advancement over the nickelplate, jl, orion, etc I have used in the past. Just one 8" puts out enough bass that I'm done. I'm good. Doesn't even matter what music I'm listening too. It's outperforms in every scenario reliably. I strongly recommend this subwoofer, and additionally the boss 1100m amp. ... show more

I went from a sedan with a large trunk to a coupe with a small funky shaped trunk. My 12" type R's were not an option without a wall off. Got these guys and made my own custom box (that barely squeezed in there) and used same amplifires from my old install. These things pound at least as hard and low, if not harder than the 12's which were also in a custom homemade box. I bought 1 of these 8” subs, supposed to be brand new but I was used and the speaker wire lead was cut in half. When you pay for a new speaker ($120) you expect a new speaker.

This thing is incredible!! I have 600 real watts going to it,not those fantasy amplifiers,you know who you are,and it gets down. Small 1 cubic foot ported enclosure and for the money this is an absolute steal! I would definitely recommend if you're right on space or just like watching an 8 incher do 10 or 12 inch work. I may add a second if my sunvisor and sunglass holder can take the vibration. It's seriously that good! ... show more
