Description

These modern custom cut Lumino 2” Faux Wood Cordless Blinds are safer and easier to use with no exposed lift cords, so no tangles. The 2" room darkening slats have a smooth surface. To use, simply grasp the center of the bottom rail and lift or lower it to your desired height. For light control, turn the wand to tilt the slats to let as much or as little light into a room as you prefer. They are ideal for installing in your bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, family room, dining room, office/den, basement, and even the garage. Included with this purchase is the blind, contemporary valance, wand, brackets, screws, drywall anchors and installation instructions. Tools you will need for installation: pencil, tape measure, drill or screw driver. Clean/dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Perfect fit to replace my outdated mini blinds. Easy to install. Giving it 4 stars because the wand does not hang properly since the hook is so narrow it creates a tight fit, and I am anticipating it will break sooner rather than later. Overall happy and hoping for the best.

I was originally going to install Plantation Shutters in our new home. For 14 windows, I figured a budget of $3-$4K, but the vendor through Amazon’s pricing was very misleading. Once the window dimensions were included, it went up to over $8K. So, I opted for these blinds instead, and I am so glad I did!!! For about $1K, I was able to get custom blinds for all the windows!! It took me about 30 minutes to review the instructions and hang the first set. I was fortunate that I could mount them with a flush valence because the windows were all recessed, and I was able to fly through and put each successive blind set up in about 20 minutes each. ok, if I had to write what I did not like, this would be an empty review. They arrived quickly, considering they must make each one as a special order, no such thing in this business as a standard size. They fit exactly to the dimensions I ordered. They look and feel great, solid construction and were easy to install. I have been in the apartment maintenance business for 30 years so maybe I have a slight advantage over other people when it comes to installing them, but it really is pretty self-explanatory, and the instructions were written for the layman, so most people should have little or no problems with their install. Arrived very well packaged with good clear installation instructions that were printed in a large font making them easy to read. The blinds were easy to install but giving only 4 stars because every single slat on the two 19” x 64 blinds had really rough, sort of frayed edges that I had to file with a nail file (since these were outside mount on french doors all the rough edges were very visible and looked awful). I almost wondered if these missed the “finishing” step at the factory. I also ordered two others at a larger size, haven’t installed yet but after inspecting those they seemed to be fine, or at least not as jagged and rough as the 19” ones. Filing is not a big deal for a few windows, other than all the white dust it creates. But if I had a lot of these to file it would be annoying and a very time consuming extra step.
