I've only had the torch for a few days, so this might be wrong, but this is a good quality Minecraft torch. The charge is still lasting, and its super easy to turn on, off, and change the colors. I got this to get ready for work early in the morning without turning on the lights and waking up my roommate, and it's bright enough to do that. The only negative is that the angle you can attach it to the wall to is a little steep, probably somewhere between 30-40 degrees. I have no plans of attaching it to the wall but just a heads up. If you have a young child who is obsessed with Minecraft, stop scrolling and buy this torch lamp immediately. This was a gift for my 7-year-old son, and he absolutely LOVES it. At only $14, this is a fantastic value and the perfect gift for your little Minecraft lovers. The torch is incredibly versatile and well-designed for kids. Functionally, the number one thing I appreciate is the brightness balance: the 7 colors are bright enough to be fun even during the day, yet they aren't so bright that they keep him awake at night. He especially loves the rainbow mode, which constantly cycles through the colors—it adds a cool, dynamic element to his gaming room. Using it couldn't be simpler. It has a flush button that is easy for small hands to push, and the whole unit feels solid enough for gentle play. I really appreciate the modern USB-C charging (it comes with the cable, just note that the wall block isn't included). The design is brilliant for both display and play; the bottom easily folds down to reveal the hanging holes for wall mounting, and it closes neatly so he can carry it around his "world" as a handheld torch. Regarding build quality, it is a plastic torch, which is exactly what you should expect at this price point. I wouldn’t expect a really solid, high-quality build, but it seems like it should hold up fine under normal use. If it gets tossed around or thrown, I would expect the plastic to crack, like so many other toys of this material. The torch came somewhat charged already and can light up out of the box, the battery life seemed reasonable, although we havent used it all night to see if it will last for multiple nights yet. The best endorsement? My 5-year-old daughter loves playing with it so much that she has already requested her own for Hanukkah! It's a huge hit in our house. I purchased the Gutsyluv Brand, Rechargeable, Wall-Mountable, 7-Color Options of Light, Pixel Torch, Night Light, for my 6-y/o granddaughter, and she loves it. She’s a big Minecraft fan, and this Torch is Gutsyluv’s rendition of such. The quality is very nice, and the Light is recharged by way of the included Type-C charging cable … you will need your own charging block / plug adapter portion. The Torch Light comes with a bracket for mounting it to the wall, if desired … it would hang at an angle—just like in the Minecraft game. My granddaughter prefers to play with the Light—instead of mounting it to the wall. It has 7 different colors of lights for you to choose from (by a press of the square & flush side button), or the Light can be set to slowly cycle through all of the colors … or, turned ‘off’ via the same button—by holding the button for a couple seconds.
