A good kit for connecting a medium-power amplifier to the vehicle's on-board network. The diameter of the wire with insulation is 6.4 mm. Insulation on one side is 1.2 mm. Thus, the diameter of the central wire is 4 mm. The power wire bends easily. The delivery process was quick and smooth.

Good little kit. Comes with the essentials. The wire cover/shielding is of higher quality than expected. Would have liked for conduit for under the hood included. You’ll need 4-channel RCA cables if you’re running a 4-5 channel amplifier. Hoping the RCA cables are of high enough quality to eliminate feedback/alternator noise through the speakers. A lot of the questions ask if this enough for x wattage. That’s not a great metric. Go off the specific amplifier specs. For example, class d amps are highly efficient and you can comfortably run 900watts RMS with an 8 gauge wire with this series of amp. In fact, the amp I’m using is the SCAR 900 watt 5ch and 8 gauge is largest the amp will accept without adapters. Would be buy again at this price. Although, if the SCAR 8 gauge OFC had been in stock, that would still be my first choice. ... show more

The length of the power cord is just long enough only cut 2 inches off but its very flexable and the insulationis not very tight with the copper wire. The rca cables are about 4 feet to long. I did not use the speker wire or the remote wire. All n all its a good product.

This was a great buy. Good quality, good price. I would definately order again or recommend it. The only downfall is the remote wire (small thin blue wire) the remote wire strand was broken in the sleeve in multiple places therefore I ran a separate remote wire that did not come with the kit.

Not bad for the price , the ground could be a tad bit longer , I used it to hook up my kicker 400x1 and looks professional , but it is cca wire if you have the extra $10 to $15 and purchase ofc wire

I bought the kit on a gamble because of positive reviews and it had everything I needed in a budget subwoofer add on system. Pros: Has everything you need. Ground and power cable are decent Water resistant Fuse block Easy to install Cons: Wire insulation is cheap quality...its plastic like what you would find in inflatable pool toys, only thicker....even smells like it Hard to strip Gauge not accurate Quality of copper wire is low The crimp on fittings are all but useless. RCA cables are more like dollar store toy section Quality Essentially a power bottleneck for most amp sysems that the kit claims to support. Afterthought: This kit will be fine if you plan on using in an older vehicle with a amp/sub under seat combo kit or an amplified tube woofer kit. Im running a planet audio monoblock 1500 amp on a SKAR iXR12" 4ohm sub...the speaker wire was a huge bottle neck....just changing out those wires increased the performance of my sub and it hit surprisingly hard. If you are buying an amp and sub woofer and box separately...this is NOT the kit for you. It will work but it will not provide full system capable power. If you are balling on a budget and plan to have an extermal amplifier with a sub under 10"...this might be ok for you...if not, buy something like monster cable....especially if you are going to go through the trouble of installing something like this in your vehicle....may as well install something quality ... show more
