Using with an older iphone SE with the flash cable receptacle. Easy ap download and opening, plugged in and worked without issue. Using for thermal image of home interior to isolate cold spots and looking for hot spots on vintage audio components. Easy use, good image, just takes a minute to acclimate to shadow and perspective for really close use on the circuit boards. Occasionally there is a bit of a lag of image using in real close proximity, but it is infrequent. Well pleased with performance, ease of operation and contrast resolution. I'd buy it again.

This is a pretty nice little tool for the iPhone users. I have been using iPhone for years, this is perfect for me. I keep this device around the house, for any needs of checking temperatures. Its easy to setup the 1st time. Just download the app, and plug in the thermal imager, it the app will auto detect that the device is connected, and prompt you to open the app. Once the app opens, it will take a few seconds to calibrate, then its ready to go. There are a few different features, there is the traditional thermal detection function. Show the highest, and lowest temp, and the spot you are pointing to. There is also a feature you can draw a rectangular shape, and it will only detect the highest and lowest in the box you have draw. There is also a liner feature, only detect the high and low on that line you draw. This is very useful, and small enough to keep it in my pocket. The accuracy is around 3 to 5 degrees differences. I have try to test it with my handheld thermal meter. But as you are using it for a few mins, the temperature gets more accurate over time, I think its because of the on going calibration. there is also a time lapse feature, I can set it to track the high and low temperatures over a period of time. This is very useful, I can see how much the temperature have increased or decreased over how long. So far I really like this little imager. But do keep in mind, this only works with the iPhone, will not work android phones.

I recently purchased this and I couldn't be more impressed with its performance. The decently high resolution has been crisp and detailed images that exceeded my expectations. I mainly got it to inspect some recent wiring work in my SUV restoration project but discovered I could use it to inspect my home for energy efficiency. Even double checked my 3D printer bed temps for any cool spots. It is accurate as far as I can tell. And very insightful info, I can't wait to try it on some other surfaces like the exhaust system in my other project car. It's compact and lightweight and fits inside a custom fit case and comes with a very plush cleaning cloth. The app has been good and stable as well, I tried using it on my USB-C iPad through an aftermarket adapter but it didn't work. Maybe the official Apple adapter would work. It can change from Fahrenheit to Celsius and the color graph too. Black/White and Rainbow are my favorites. I highly recommend this to anyone seeking a reliable and versatile thermal imaging solution.

This device is magical! It worked very well for finding the location of the underfloor heating tubing embedded in the concrete floor I needed to drill into. It's also a lot of fun for looking at cats with. But I really wish it was possible to get images without temperature estimates displayed all over the place. They ruin the infrared cat photos I wanted to post online.

Good product, but error in communication. It works as intended with my iPhone 15pro Max. However it is designed for the lighting port. HOWEVER, it DOES include in the case a short lighting to USB-C and I think a lighting micro USB cable for Android phones. After you download their app, you can set temperature to C and F temperature ranges with upper and lower ranges. Functionality shows temperature changes very close to real time. Like when you have it look at you when you exhale you see that temperature change. Good clarity of images not grainy or pixelated like I thought it would be so it works as expected. I would recommend this unit.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. He and his friend are avid fisherman and they like to make injected molded soft plastics in there free time. They wanted this to see if they could get more consistent results. They were shocked when looking at the contents how many variations are in the material. This led to a more consistent heat throughout after they could see the cold spots. He also used it on his car like looking for a miss fire where you will have a cold exhaust runner compared ti the rest and also seeing where you have heat soak in your engine bay. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who is skeptical as it is well worth the month. Pros: works seamless with IOS app. Very user friendly. Come with great lightning cable extension. Small size, comes in zipper pouch, packaging is great. Cons. Camera can’t plug into the phone with the case on when not using the included extension cable.

I use this in my job everyday and it works flawlessly. I was going to buy a self contained unit but thought I would try this instead. Does not drain my battery phone very much and the screen resolution is perfect. The case it comes with is very sturdy and protects the unit well when not in use. Software interface is very intuitive.
