The hubs and I were tag teaming this mattress frame build, and I had just commented on how well built it was and how easy it was to put together. Then….as we were popping in the slats, we found that the slat holders on one leg of the E side frame were soldered in upside-down!! I mean, C’mon Quality Control!! Now, I have to disassemble the entire thing, figure out how to get all these pieces back into their tiny box and ship this heaviness all back because they can’t put things together correctly??!!?? Just send me an E piece PLEASE!!! Ridiculous!!

I am very happy with my purchase. The frame exceeded my expectations. It is exactly as advertised. It is strong and firm. It makes no screeching noise if installed properly. It requires no boxspring. This is a very sturdy metal bed frame, and it is relatively easy to put together. It helps to have two people putting it together to hold things in place, but one person can do it. There are no special tools needed. All that is required are the Allen wrench and the open-ended wrench that are both included. One thing I do like about this is that the slats that go across to hold the mattress are metal, and they fit into grooves on the frame. So, unlike the slats that go across other bed frames that have to sit just right in order to stay in place, these are not going to move. Hence the bed is very sturdy once put together. The only drawback is that the edge of the frame is very thick that some bed rails may not easily mount to it, which is really only an issue if the bed frame is for a senior.

I don’t know why people said this is flimsy, because it is a very sturdy frame. I love it. And it’s tall enough that the clear plastic tubs can fit right under the bed. Also, very quiet and no squeaking.

Easy to assemble. Everything included you need. The only thing that would be nicer is if it had some kind of bracket on the corners to keep your box spring from slipping. I’m not really having that problem because I have a big heavy king mattress, but I could see smaller mattresses slipping.
