This works exactly like I needed, It's sturdy, fits exactly like I needed it to, and worked great. I did have to buy a cheap adapter to use on our other vehicle but that was pretty inexpensive. I would recommend this and definitely buy again

So the idea is great where you can connect a long ratchet directly to this bit instead of struggling with the clumsy and weak cranks that come with scissor jacks. The problem is that this adapter swivels and has play once you bolt it on and that is forcing you to struggle against the tendency of this adapter to swivel and get out of wack. I mitigated this annoying play by forcing 2 thin washers on each side to fill the gap, then tightened the adapter to keep everything in a solid inline position. The other thing is I would not recommend using an impact wrench with this adapter as it does feel too weak for a 1/2 inch impact... Manual ratcheting is strongly recommended also to prevent the premature wear of the threaded rod at the heart of your scissor jack. Lastly make sure you use a thread lock on the bolt of the adapter or replace the standard nut with a nylon lock type... Otherwise a good value after modifying this. ... show more
