Don't let the price stop you. Over the last 5 years we've bought more than a dozen brands of shades through Amazon. Some were meh; others sort of OK; these are spectacular! They're very well constructed, do truly provide complete light blocking, and the requisite extra layer of insulation that helps conserve energy and lower utility bills. The aforementioned not withstanding, the installation process is insanely simple and easy. It took us 3-4 minutes. No cutting to fit, no drills or holes in the casing, and no colorful language through the entire process! I looked at my wife and said "Wait, this was too easy. We must have done something wrong." Nope! It was exactly the way is should be so, we're waiting for our 2nd one to arrive. As the older, cheaper ones die off, this going to be our go-to brand. No regrets or discussion necessary. Life's too short-buy them!

I ordered these shades for a west-facing window that gets quite warm in Florida’s summer sun. I wanted something that would insulate a bit from the intense heat that I could feel when sitting near the windows. But I didn’t want to have to mess with lots of difficult hardware installation. These shades have been amazingly easy to install. I am an 81- year old woman ( in good shape) and I was able to install them in a matter of minutes! The only problem I had was that I have a decorative overhang at the top of my windows so the enclosed screwdriver was too long to fit under it. It simply meant using my own hex keys- which are shorter— and the installation went smoothly after that. These shades look amazing and are so helpful in blocking the afternoon heat!! I highly recommend them!!

The size was perfect for the window we wanted it for. The material is awesome and it has great filtering. It is a very durable shade and it looks great in the window. The weight is great and the adhesion to the frame couldn’t be better. It was one of the easiest installation I have done.

These went up with amazing ease within two minutes. The way it expands to fit makes them a breeze and fit snug. They go up and down smoothly. They are amazing at blacking out our room paired with our blackout curtains. They look clean. My only complaint is the sizing. It is recommended to size half an inch down from your window measurements. This leaves a small gap that is larger on one side and also made me question if it would expand enough to fit when tightening it. I feel like it almost didn't expand enough but it just made it. The fit is fine but I feel like we could have gotten away with getting the exact size of our windows instead of the recommended half size down.

They were a little too small for my window. There was a gap that lets in more light than I would like but they were very easy to install. They're very durable and roll down easily. I decided to use them in my kitchen window and they were perfect! So, I ordered the next size up and I'm excited to try them. They look great and are absolutely worth the money!
