I was looking for something that would get my toilet clear. What started as slow drain became a clog and was backed up. If this didn’t work I was calling my landlord to call the plumber. About every 18 months I need a plumber and I really didn’t want to be a bug. It came. I opened the box. The instructions weren’t that clear but with common sense sprinkled in I had it together in less than 5 minutes. Now to her to the gritty part. I did not read the above instructions about how much pressure to use. I probably should have done that. But I started pumping. I got it to about the halfway mark stuck it in the hole and pushed the button. This baby has some kick. A little went down. I flushed… back to the slow drain. I went back pumped it up some more. I pumped to about the same point. Fired away. Same thing. Now I’m feeling discouraged. I pumped it up again this time I went right up to (but not into) the red zone. Put the head back in the hole. This baby really kicked. Make sure you’re holding it good. There was splash back but not too much. The bowl went empty. I flushed and it’s the best my toilet has flushed in the 8 years I’ve lived here. The gauge did come with scrapes on the plastic. I don’t even care about that. IT WORKED! It worked. Third time was the charm. It’s worth the money. I had no trouble using it and the results were quick and exactly what I needed. Thanks everyone who said buy it.

One star For theses reasons So this product is a great idea but is faulty. Due to the fact there is no air tight seal. Yeah you could tape it up but I shouldn't have to tape a product at the price we paid for it. It's easy to set up and understand even with out instructions thanks to YouTube. However the fact there is not a full seal and air leaks not only from the connection of the air pump. Which doesn't properly screw into place. But I notice air coming from the seem in the top. From what I have read it's a hit or miss with the quality of product received. So I think they need to look into quality control. Also more Options for lengths and heads of the device. If you got a air compressor it work great, but I had a air leak so no good. My neighbor has this device because we live in a crap apartment, and are sick of having to get The land lord to send a plumber every time. From what they say, use the plastic wrap. This will decrees splash back! Also you will want make sure water levels are lower and water be turned off, or put towels down. Because would might flush a couple of times before whatever is in there passes Or comes up. Theirs has no issue with seal but they also taped it based on reviews. Cool Not for me. Not worth the $49.99. I'll be returning it as I don't have time to wait for a new one and hope it will work out. I'll be looking for a better solution or calling the plumber, we have a bigger issue we believe it's due to the bamboo we didn't plant here and can't remove, due to its not our property, Review from meghan

I had a clogged toilet and sink for days now & have tried everything to get it unclogged. I bought solutions from stores to pour down the pipes or drains, used a drain snake for hours. Nothing has worked so I decided to look at something else. Came across this product and wanted to give it one last try. A few pumps later, my toilet and sink are both unclogged. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! Great product to have around the house and it was worth the money in my opinion.

Disclaimer: I rarely write reviews, except when a product is either very good or very bad. Background: I had been dealing with a bathroom sink that would clog repeatedly for SEVEN years. It seemed that every 4-6 weeks the darn thing would clog completely. I tried everything to remedy this situation (e.g. liquids, gels, snakes), but nothing worked. Solution: In an act of utter desperation, I decided to give this pneumatic dredger a try, and thank God I did! I pumped the dredger up to 80 PSI and, using the special attachment for bathroom sinks, established a tight seal around the drain and pressed the trigger... I could feel the pressure wave literally shake the sink, and then I nervously turned the water on... Lo and behold, it was flowing down the drain! I couldn't believe it! Two more blasts at 80 PSI and the drain was COMPLETELY cleared. Water now flows freely as if the pipes were new... I highly recommend this product for those in similar straits... you won't be sorry!

Used this air based toilet drain unclogger as directed. Written instructions were easily understood. The included bicycle airpump worked well. Not having used an air drain unclogger before, it took 4 tries to clear as I increased air pressure each attempt. Once appropriate pressure was used, the clog cleared immediately. Removing the air bladder from the drain opening was difficult. Seems the rubber bladder became stuck to porcelain drain. Had to pull, twist for a few minutes before it released. May consider lubricating bladder with dishsoap. Splashing hazzard. May want to use shield over toilet bowl, gloves and eye protection.
