I bought this cover because we were finding a lot of mouse droppings in our toaster at the lake cabin. Obviously they were attracted to the scent of the breadcrumbs. I'm happy to report that this zip up toaster bag totally works. You can even put the toaster in it while it's still hot.

Fits my ancient Oster four slice toaster perfectly. I took rough measurements and compared it to the dimensions on the product listing before ordering. It has just enough room to fit without being too tight or too loose. There are handles on the top and two sides so you can easily grab your toaster from wherever you store it. I picked my toaster up using the top handle and it seemed sturdy, and the bottom did not sag under the weight of the toaster. I went with this option because it doesn't have a cotton/poly lining inside like other covers I saw. I read reviews on those that the inner lining broke down after a few years and was shedding into the toaster, creating a fire hazard. So I like that this product only has a plastic cover and then the aluminum-type liner on the bottom and three sides. Plus, pests could easily crawl or scurry up those covers that only fit over the top. This one is enclosed on all sides sealed with a zipper. This product does have a slight plastic smell right out of the packaging, but I'm going to let it air out over the weekend and see if it dissipates. ... show more
