The battery life is less than advertised, it’s only about 20 minutes or so on a full charge, and it only comes with one battery. Having said this, the vacuum is lightweight and very easy to use. The on/off switch is in a place that could be moved- it is on the handle, and I find myself pressing it frequently as I vacuum. This means it ends up turning on and off often frequently during one vacuum session. It’s not a deal breaker, but a slightly annoying feature. The canister is easy to open and clean. The roller head is highly maneuverable and easily fits under and around furniture. The attachments are easy to connect and disconnect, and securely attach to motor. I already own two Dyson Animal V8s, One for upstairs and one for downstairs. I purchased this one because the upstairs one isn’t holding a charge so I needed something to get me through while I work through the warranty process with Dyson. So this review will be a comparison between the Dyson and this one. As an fyi, my household has two adults, a lab who sheds a lot, and a cat who of course also sheds. But the lab hair is the big vacuuming challenge in this house. Additionally, she brings debris in on her feet - dirt, small leaves, etc. There’s a lot to like about this vacuum. It is very easy to assemble and charged quickly. MUCH lighter than the Dyson, which makes it much better to use and maneuver. It has a headlight, which the Dyson does not, and is especially helpful in a house with a LOT of dark pet hair on dark wood floors. So far I have only used the floor attachment, and the vacuum maneuvers very nicely. The attachment has a beater bar and works on both area rugs (mine are very textured) and hard floors. The Dyson beater bar doesn’t work well at all on hard floors, so you have to switch between their hard floor attachment and the carpet attachment. I like that the head is a little narrower than the Dyson, which makes it easier to vacuum under and around furniture legs if you’re doing a quick clean and don’t have to move furniture. Run time is good - better than the Dyson. With all that said, this vacuum just doesn’t have the suction the Dyson does. We intentionally didn’t vacuum for a few days before first use. It picked up quite a bit of stuff, which was great, but it seemed like it couldn’t be getting all that was there, because it was less than normally would be sucked up after a few days of not vacuuming. So once we were done, we went back over everything with the Dyson. Sure enough, there was still a lot of hair left to pick up. We have used it more since then and basically it comes down to this. For heavy traffic or heavy pet hair areas, you need to use this daily, and it will do a decent but not stellar job. It is much more pleasant to use than the Dyson, and we have gotten in the habit of using this most days, and the Dyson twice a week for a more thorough clean. If you want to vacuum a heavy traffic area less than daily, this is not the vacuum for you. For lighter traffic areas (such as bedrooms or offices) it works well and will do a fine job if used weekly. So overall, for the price I paid ($89 I think) I’m fine with the performance. It would have been great if it was more effective, but that’s a lot to expect for the price. I’m keeping this as a second floor vac, and it will be fine. ... show more

I bought this little unit to clean up sand from my pontoon boat as it's cordless and I have no power at my dock. It works rather decently. Not awesome. It is basically a dustbuster with a power head. But one warning. The battery isn't attached very tightly. As I was emptying the canister, the battery fell out and bubbled its way to the bottom of the Lake! I'm very glad I ordered an extra battery. It has a good long battery life. The only way you can tell if it's charged, is if the battery is hooked to the vacuum itself while plugged in. I've been using it around the house for a week now and my favourite use is to use it as a broom in the kitchen and under the high chair. It doesn't work well on fluffy carpet. But we've got mostly industrial carpet in the house and if I just need a quick tidy, it's great. It's really nice to use on the stairs because it's so light and it gets right to the wall, better than my Shark upright. Buy this thing. You won't be sad. ... show more

I bought this product mostly to use the hand held part for my car and home stairs. When fully assembled, it is a nice and quick pick up around the house and particularly in the kitchen. I would like more suction but it met my low expectations. The dirt catching receptacle is really convenient and easy to empty. The hook for hanging the vacuum on the wall needs a design makeover but all things considered, it was a good Prime Day purchase. ... show more

It does work well. I only have a few throw rugs, no carpet in house. So it works well for me and the suction serms to be good. My biggest issue with it is the length of the handle. It is much shorter than I expected. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

I have 3 cats that live inside my house and the only problem is that the hair always get stuck in these tiny wheels underneath the vacuum's floor brush, other than that it's a good vacuum for it's price.
