I bought this for my boss who is an Elementary school principal. We try to have a calm, relaxing atmosphere in the Main Office not only for the students, but also the adults. My boss' office is very orderly and also nicely decorated. I was originally going to get him a Zen garden, but most of the stuff in our office is kid-friendly, and with his OCD, I knew any sand on his desk would drive him nuts. I stumbled across this and thought it would fit with our decor, but also be relaxing and kid-friendly. This fit the bill and then some! At one point after I gave it to him, he was on a zoom with all the other administrators in the district and was showing it off. He really loved it. As he would talk on the phone, he would flip it and watch the sand fall. Then call me in to see what new design was made. Lol It's become a joke now that whenever anyone enters his office, they rotate the frame. I am extremely happy with how beautiful this is. Several other staff members have asked for the link to purchase one, as well. It's the prefect size for a desk. All in all, definitely worth the price. It made the perfect gift!

Love the idea, still having to tilt to get sand falling, because the bubbles are too many. Instructions talk about the air bubbles and how to fix with needle tool, but there's no tool included. It's still very pretty, and does fall if I mess with it gor awhile.

I have this along with a few other gadgets on my desk at work. This is by far the most used, people can’t walk by with out flipping it over to reset it, which was the goal. A “conversation piece” that creates small interactions. It came with instructions to add air if needed to create more bubbles. They were definitely broken English and not practical, it involves using a needle and syringe. I thought I needed to, but if you shake the thing the bubbles get smaller and disperse better. If you let it sit, long enough the bubbles combine and can become one gigantic bubble. It is kind of a fun game to find the balance of the right size bubbles.

This thing is AWESOME! I bought it as a diversion to help reduce my stress at work. I've been popping stress balls lately and needed to try something else. I love this sand thing. It was packaged really well. Simple to put together, just the 2 pieces. The stand it sits in and the sand thing itself. I love making new sand pictures with it when I need a couple of minutes down time. Sturdy and well made. I expect it to last a long time, certainly longer than the stress balls!

Is what it is...would have preferred different color and no bubbles in the liquid. Directions talk about using an applicator to add fluid if necessary, but no applicator is provided; wouldn't know what to use. \_O_/
