I bought these as a replacement for some bulbs in an indoor/outdoor string of lights I bought from the local hardware store. The media could not be loaded. It says it doesn't have a flicker so I trusted that and didn't check until after my return window had ended. I have a child with seizures and when you record on slow-motion you can clearly see a flicker. This is the worst flicker I've ever seen in a light bulb in my home. Got these for our entryway light fixture, and they look great! I tried the straight bulb (shaped like a tic-tac), and I thought these Edison shape looked better on this Sputnik-type fixture. Also keep in mind for fixtures with multiple lights, these can get very bright! haha Luckily we don't turn this on very often so mostly they need to look nice while off, which they do. They also handled dimming just fine-- no buzzing or flickering. They were packaged very well and all arrived unbroken/uncracked. Price seems pretty much par for the course, not cheap but not expensive. Definitely recommend. ... show more

I put 8 of these bulbs in a large light fixture. I was pleasantly surprised at how bright these are and I like the vintage look. They are a little taller than my previous Edison bulbs. They also have a nice warmth to them while not being yellow. I noticed after putting the light bulbs in, one bulb had a flicker and I tried to screw it in tighter to get it to stop. It did eventually stop after warming up. This light fixture is on a dimmer switch and I have noticed that the bulb that had the flicker is slow to respond to the dimmer switch. The rest of the bulbs seem to work as well as any name brand bulb. Other than the minor issue with that one bulb, these are great, nice color and a good value for the price. ... show more

I really like these Edison bulbs. I like the Edison bulbs in general; I think they just have such a cozy ambience. These particular ones were brighter than I was expecting. Most of the Edison bulbs I've gotten in the past had a softer glow (kinda like candlelight or like an old tavern) and I was expecting something more like that but these are fine. I posted a picture of what my bathroom looked like with a normal 60 watt bulb and what it looked like after with the Edison bulbs. It definitely brightened up my bathroom. I also used these on some of my outside lighting as well. These are well worth the money. So far, these have held up from an energy efficiency stance. ... show more

My husband bought these to replace the warm colored bulbs we had, since the color made everything seem dim in the kitchen. You can see the light difference in my attached comparison photo. There was only one problem I found. In my dining room is a light on a dimmer switch, and even with my dimmer switch turned all the way up, the LEDs will flick on and off. If you dim the light, the bulb will dim too, but it still flickers. That is the only dimmer in my house and the only spot I saw this issue. ... show more

We got these bulbs for use in a Mexican chandelier. We had previously installed warm white LED bulbs in the chandelier but the last time we had to replace them, the only LED bulbs we could find were “daylight” that looked rather harsh in this application. Cf. photo on left. The middle photo shows the TJOY bulb bare. The right photo shows the chandelier after replacing the “daylight” bulbs with these warm white, 2800 K, ones. The chandelier now looks like we want. The TJOY bulbs are quite tall and not as versatile as the smaller ones we obtained previously. ... show more

As a Vine Voices reviewer, I have the privilege of testing products from brands and sellers we've never heard from before. We moved three times in the last decade and bought a lot of LED bulbs for new fixtures and to dress up old ones. And I read a lot of customer reviews along the way. I often saw buyers of the more decorative bulbs complaining about quality control problems-- a multi-pack of bulbs might have one or more non-functioning units. This twelve pack arrived nicely packaged in a form-fitting transparent plastic shroud. The bulbs look as if they had been hand blown in Tom Edison's lab, they were attractive to look at even before I screwed them into my dining room fixture. But more importantly-- every one of the dozen bulbs are working. They do in fact dim smoothly across the whole brightness range. (I'm using TP-link Kasa smart dimmer switches.) They give off a warm white color temperature. My biggest problem: I'm trying to think of a lamps and fixtures that would best show off these bulbs in and around our home now that they're in our dining fixture. (Maybe our outdoor lamps would be a good starting place.) I haven't had them long enough to vouch for longevity. But they don't appear to be fragile. And the LED elements are way less fragile than old fashioned tungsten in Edison's time. ... show more
