They say outside but we decided to try them out on the dimmest mold on the inside in our big window behind our blinds and they are great. They are not too bright,, they are very long. Worked great for 3 months. After that, lights started dimming or auto changing itself to different scenes. The last 15 feet has lost sync and only turns on white. Even powering off those are still staying on. Around 50 ft there is one light that turned green. These were the least expensive and worked great the first few months. ... show more

I have enjoyed using them year-round. During the Christmas season, I have it rotating 8 lighting scenes. New Year's Eve - red, white and blue, Valentine's Day - pink, Halloween - purple and orange, etc. The rest of the year, I have every third light on white.

    • Doesn't produce white light as advertised
I purchased these lights based on the advertised features, but my experience has been disappointing. • Color accuracy: The product was marketed as producing premium white light and offering up to 16 million colors. In reality, the closest I could get to white light was a purplish blue or greenish yellow using either the remote or the Surplife app. This feels misleading and borders on false advertising. • Brightness: The lights are noticeably dimmer than expected, falling short of the “premium” quality implied. • Waterproof claim: While the lights themselves may be IP67 rated, the power supply block is not. This defeats the purpose of outdoor use unless modifications are made. • Design flaws: The wiring between the power supply and controller is too short, forcing me to splice and extend the cable just to run the power supply indoors safely. • Company focus: Given that the company’s main business is motion-activated trail cameras, it’s clear this lighting product is not their strength. Although the price was reasonable, the compromises in quality, misleading claims, and poor design make this purchase regrettable. Stopped working. One set comes on the other stays off then I try to fit it. The other goes off and then other on it’s a mess!!!!

So I have mixed feelings on these. I ordered three sets. One set out of the box worked for 5 mins then stopped and I had to get replaced from Amazon. I put up a second set and boy was that an undertaking. Only made it a 6ft before I quit. The screws are ridiculously small. If you aren't putting the screws into something soft and have to be on a tall ladder I would pass on these. Also if you aren't super careful the brackets will crack.
