Ok, I’m a disabled veteran. This thing is amazing. Although it is not for doing smaller yards it slings stuff everywhere. However; if you have a good acre yard. This thing will cut your time of putting down material by over half. I mounted this to my quad. Set the material nut for the right amount. Turned on the spreader and then when ready open the shoot. Done. It’s been great. The top works well it started raining one day helped from clumping up material. Don’t open the shoot without the motor running, I can see why a lot of people burn up their motors.

Pros- fairy robust, the hopper itself is of decent construction. Mount hardware and pieces are a little small but If you were to mount this on an ATV, like it says it's designed for. It would suffice. However, I have fabricate a little stuff, using 1-in square stock to adapt it to the front of my zero turn (see pics) Cons - This needs some kind of a shield between the operator and the turntable that rotates. No matter how you mount this, if the operator sits behind it or in front of it, it's going to sling whatever you put in that hopper all over you. I easily remedied this by cutting and installing a rubber floor mat that was turned into a shield (Not in pics). -The wiring connections are rather janky. They should be higher quality and heat shrink sealed for durability. I will eventually have to do this when the supplied connections fail. And they will. -Hopper capacity is NOWHERE near 80#. I was able to put 37# of Scotts Southern Lawn Weed & Feed. DOES NOT HOLD 80 POUNDS, MORE LIKE 40 POUNDS -The flow gate and the supplied cable and mechanism to open and close to allow product to fall onto the turntable is made of plastic. The cable is only about 12 in long. So rather short, but for my application and mounting it on the front of my mower it kind of worked out okay. But it should be longer. -More attention should be given by designers about the gate. I can see that this will probably become an issue in the future after several cycles of use. Overall I give it 4 stars out of 5. I put out fertilizer on 13 acres of grass, this thing saved me countless minutes, and even hours. It does what it's designed to do. But if you're going to apply this to the front of a zero turn mower like I did, The shield is going to be necessary. Durability is the only thing I question. But time will have to tell. It worked well, and I did 13 acres in about 2 hours running about 3 to 5 miles per hour on my zero turn. This thing slings it pretty far, I would say that your total path is about 14 to 16 ft, but of course the height of the turntable is critical. The higher you mount this the further it will throw it. My turntable currently sits 20 in off the ground. If the designers would have just made a shield, a better feed gate, used quality wire connectors, longer control cable, I would give this 5 stars. Overall a positive purchase and so far, don't regret it. If durability becomes an issue I will edit this review, But May take several cycles of use. If you're looking to buy this, buy it. It has definitely increased my productivity.

Motor stopped turning on the 3rd bag of fertilizer. Handle on the cable gate broke off at the cable connection the first time I tried to close the gate while in use. Had no way to stop flow and nearly a full bag of fertilizer in the hopper. No deflector off the throwing wheel so fertilizer got all over me and my 4-wheeler. Spent a hour cleaning up the ATV as you know nitrogen will rust everything! Very flimsy construction with only 4 screws to hold hopper to the metal arms. I sure thought to see this brake first and did not like how it mounted to the rear cargo rack. Had to make a mount for it that took all evening to do. A lot of work and effort to see the handle brake and motor stop only a few minutes into the job. Would have liked to give it less than 1 star for sturdiness and with a 80 lbs rating I laugh as I only had 50 lbs in it. 50 lbs filled it. Then I was left wondering if it was not going to hold together while I was using it, so I drove very carefully so I did not bounce the weight in it. Very poor construction. I thought better coming from Titan but not now.

Item installs easily and does the job. The plastic flow handle should be metal as that broke after 2 uses. The unit also needs a shield behind the output to keep stuff from being thrown into the ATV and my back.

Adapted this spreader to go on the front of my mower. It is removable when not in use, by simply taking off the wing nuts. I also drilled holes in the plastic hopper to thru bolt it to the frame. It comes with wood screws to attach the frame to the hopper and I didn’t think that would last very long.
