Pros: I found this light easy to install because its very light weight. When ordering a new vanity light ease of installing myself and the ability to use wifi light bulbs was a must. (most things are led and dont have that option anymore) I love that this particular light has various sizes to choice from, i think i could have actually gone bigger. The black trim and big globes are attractive & all hardware needed (no bulbs included) came in the package. Cons: The globes are a bit difficult to screw in. They are fastened by black little rods with a few threads on the end that go into the glass globe and then fasten to the fixture. Some of these i struggled with and feel the threading was not great. I bought the three and four light units to replace old units in both of my bathrooms. I read the reviews prior to the purchase and wasn't sure how these were going to work out, but I decided to chance it and get them. First of all, they are well-packaged. The globes are encased in styrofoam, and should there be a broken globe, the contact number to get a replacement is included. The globes have a couple of small flaws in the glass that are visible, but that being said, unless you stand there and look for them, they aren't obvious. I had them professionally installed and while the installers sang the "ASI the white glove guys" commercial theme while they attached the globes with the white gloves included in the boxes, they had no trouble with the installs whatsoever. I have globe bulbs in them and it's a little tight trying to put them in unless you have very small hands, but all in all, I'm very pleased. The globes (and bulbs) have to be removed to clean them so that's a bit of a drawback, but this isn't something I would do on a weekly basis so I can live with that. I've seen no lights flickering, and someone mentioned their lights rattle whenever they close their bathroom door; these lights do neither. I was concerned about this because I get jets overhead and live by the freeway but I've experienced nothing even remotely similar to that. These globes are stationary and stable in their fittings. I'm in the process of redoing both the guest bath and master bath, and I'm glad I chose these fixtures. They are a great addition now, and when the work is completed, they will look amazing! ... show more

    • Nice looking light but had a defect in screw opening

Love the light now that it is up and functioning. This should have been a 30 minute install but took me 1.5 hours. I had one one screw hole that had metal shards inside the screw opening. I didn't even think to try ALL the screw holes with the prongs before hanging the light fixture. I had to take down the fixture and used a drill to remove the metal so I could insert the prong. It was the back prong sitting near the wall. Had it been a front prong, I wouldn't have needed to take it back down. Overall, the quality is good and the light looks great. ... show more

I've just had my primary bathroom renovated. My old vanity light was a Broadway style 8-bulb mirrored bar that had gotten very rusty in 20 years of use. I still wanted 8 bulbs of light with a mirrored bar and easily changed bulbs, so after a lot of research and reading of reviews, I chose two 4-bulb lengths of this one. All my new fixtures are smooth curved chrome; this blends in very nicely. I had the contractor install dimmer switches on all the new bathroom lighting. With that and dimmable LEDs, this light bar is a massive upgrade over what I had before. It also came quickly, well packaged, with all its pieces intact. My only regret is that the contractor misunderstood what I said about the placement. I wanted a gap between the two bars but to have them centered over the mirror. Instead he centered them over the two sinks, so the left bar is jammed up against the side wall and the right bar extends a little past the mirror edge. It looks ungainly and doesn't bounce the light quite right. I hate to have him rip up and have to repaint the wall, but I think I need to ask for that to be corrected so the full beauty of these lights can be displayed. I can't say how long they'll last in terms of rust. I still don't have shower glass so the bathroom hasn't been a moist environment yet. For now, they are pristine. ... show more

So far we are happy with this light. As long as you already know the basics of how to hook a light fixture up, everything is easy enough. Love the look of it, exactly what I wanted for our bathroom. We did have to modify the mounting bracket slightly as our junction box wasn’t centered over our vanity. Moving the junction box wasn’t an option. I purchased a hole saw, cut a new hole in the mounting bracket, also used some metal snips to get the job done. Filed down the sharp edges and then covered with electrical tape so no wires or fingers get cut. Problem solved. ... show more

Overall the fixture is nice, but it was missing a screw to mount the wall plate. Only came with 3 screws and 3 wall anchors when there should have been 4 of each.
