Tingley Flite boots are made from Aerex 1.5.5, a proprietary, chemical- resistant, thermally-insulative microcellular polymer, resulting in boots that are over 40% lighter compared to most steel toe PVC and rubber knee boots. The lightweight upper, cushioned heel, slip-resistant nitrile rubber outsole and composite toe provide superior comfort and safety.

First off, I work in a meat processing facility. I've worn boots from many different brands but these are the best. I've bought over 30 pairs, for myself and for other coworkers and they love them. Some have been wearing them every day, 10hrs a day for 2+ years and they still have tread and there are no leaks. Impressive! They are warm and they do fit a little big but nothing that an extra pair of socks doesn't fix. They fit more like shoes, which I like. I don't recommend any boots other than these. The standard is the modern one ASTM -2143 - 18 EH I was hesitant to buy this because it said on the product page it was the old standard, rest assured it's the modern one With that said I am returning this I usually wear a size 11 4x wide shoe Got this in size 11, it was wide enough for my feet but the steel toe cuts into the end of the shoe , after 5 min my toes started to go numb.     • Didn't fit right and rubbed my feet raw

I ordered a 10 which is my size, but these are extremely tight and rub the hell out of my feet in various places. Plus, the transition between the body of the boot and the hard toe has a seam of some sort which rubs my toes raw. I looked at returning and getting an 11 but was worried they'd be too big. The 10s are almost like Bozo boots. But returning for a refund and going to a brick and mortar where I can try before I buy. These are absolutely the worst boots I've had over a 40 year career. ... show more

I work in the oilfields of North Dakota the first week I had these I was on location for 3 days sucking up ground water any where from an inch deep to 6 inches deep 12 hour days. The boots kept my feet dry and were comfortable. For the price you can't go wrong. I recommend these.
