These are the best candles in my opinion. I often buy them for our friends as birthday or Christmas gifts. Very long lasting and fragrant without being too much. I love this candle. I recieved it quickly and it was not broken. I lit it and withina a few minutes I could smell it very gently and not too strong. It will probably last throughout the holiday season. Glad I purchased it.

Wow is this a wonderful scent. I was a little worried that it would be too " piney" but I was pleasantly surprised. I can't speak for how it burns because I use candle warmers. I do not want flames in the house, and the soot that entails. Candle Warmers are safer and bring out the smell just as well. I got the 3 wick jar because I wanted it to fit my Warmer, and it does fit perfectly. Interesting side note, even though the wax is green, once it warms up, it turns into a deep burgundy. Goes back to green when it cools. Definitely would buy this again. Quality candle. ... show more

Scent: Balsam & Cedar Size: Large Jar
Pleasant smell. Lasts a long time, due to size and to slow burn rate. They burn well, and the fire doesn't go out by itself, or get too strong or weak. Not too much smoke. Eventually, as the candle burns down, the top of the glass container gets covered in black soot, affecting esthetics for some. Still, there's no risk of wax dripping, so they're clean. No tunneling, but you do have to let it burn until all the wax is melted (no hard walls on the sides). The glass feels strong and substantial. I haven't had issues with glass breaking during use or during transport. They're shipped to you in sturdy, thick, well-insulated packaging. Since my area is prone to blackouts, I keep a lot of candles at hand. I also like them for smell and ambiance. I bought about 10 of these when they were on sale, and none arrived broken! If you lay one on its side in warm weather (which happened to one of mine during transport), then the wax softens and pools sideways, and can make the wick inaccessible. What I did was set the candle upright in a pot of hot water (in such a way that the hot water touched the walls of the jar and would soften the wax, but without there being so much water that it poured inside the jar). That reset the wax and revealed the wick. Problem solved. Amusingly enough, Amazon wants me to review this candle's "taste"! I can't speak to that! ... show more
