Got it for my 8 year old because they always watch me use my larger printers... What a perfect starting printer. So far only printing what was on the tf or mini sd card. All prints have come out and look good. The build size is perfect for most kid's toys. PLA and tpu are easy to print with. We unboxed it, plugged it in, and have been printing all day. No assembly required! It uses an inductive or capacitive sensor for bed leveling. The magnetic build plate comes off the steel print bed to make removal of prints easier. It comes with 2 new stickers (masking tape) that fit the magnetic build plate (for adhesion to PLA). The print bed is not heated, so no worries about having to hit 100 deg C. It runs an auto level function for the prints on the TF card (unsure if this is a function built into the printer or if its from the sliced G-Code). User interface is intuitive for basic code type software - turn knob to change selection, press knob to select. Uses rods and cylinder type linear bearings for xy movement and a lead screw and rod for vertical travel. Tomorrow I'll download the included sw, see if I like it or need to import into one of the slicers like cura, prusa, orca. Color me impressed for such a cheap printer.

Beginner-friendly and seriously impressive. The preloaded creations make it easy to jump right in, which is why this was my son’s number one Christmas request. Not gonna lie… once he’s asleep, I’m right there making my own creations too 🙈 We really do love this one.

As a starting printer I was pretty happy with this little printer. The plug and play aspect is very nice. There are certain limitations and there is steep learning curve to the whole 3d printing world this printer wont help you with, but I was willing to learn. Then came the first break down. There was a homing issue that I could not figure out what it even ment. It wasn't until I move the printer that I realize the belt for the bed had come off. There was not trouble shooting or error codes to look up in the manual. Certainly no recommendations on fixing. I was able to get the belt back in place and all was working until issue 2. The nozzle had begun getting filament build up I couldn't remove. I decided to swap out the replacement nozzle provided. Again no instructions on how to do this in the manual. The WEEDOO video on how to change the nozzle said to turn the wrench anti-clockwise to remove while showing it being turned clockwise. I tried clockwise to match what was being done in the video but it would not move. I changed to counter clockwise. Only managed to strip the soft brass nozzle and now the heat padding is ruined and the nozzle is nowhere close to coming out. I have no idea what to do now except look for a new printer that hopefully will be more maintained friendy. All I can say is if you are considering getting a starter printer don't get this. Other models maybe more expensive, but you can probably find the same easy set up, more options to your prints, and a much better community ready with helpful information when things go bad. Compact, easy to use, cheap are great but dont mean anything when it breaks in less than a month and no place for help.

Incredible Value for the Money I started with one Tina2 by Weedo in my classroom and now I am up to 3. If you are looking for an entry level 3D printer that creates HIGH quality prints, honestly look no further. Background: I have been researching 3D printers for classroom use for sometime and researched them forever. Printers are not all created equal. They’re are subtle differences in quality and print. I took a chance on the Tina2 and am very pleased. Currently, we use the printers to create sensory, tactile fidgets for the classroom and school. What started as a small idea has turned into an adventure that students and teachers are excited about. PROS; Small in size, perfect for smaller prints. Quality all depends on the filament used but generally speaking, I have not had any issue with almost all filaments It’s quiet - no surprise there. Kids and teachers enjoy watching it The software is EASY to use. Comes with WiiBuilder and Cura which is awesome for more detailed projects Uses PLA (earth friendly filament) great for kids and TPU friendly which is flexible for making squishies or plush prints. Customer service has been outstanding. I had a breakdown with one of my machines and they were QUICK to make it right. I now have three machines in the classroom which have created well over 100’s of prints each. Easy to maintain. Simple cleaning and greasing where necessary CONS: the plate is not heated which sometimes creates issues with adhesion with rafts on prints. On the positive side, the plate is flexible so it is easy to remove prints. FINAL WORD: if you are looking for an entry level 3D printer for home or classroom, this is a great valuable start. Weedo has additional printers designed more for commercial use which I have not tested but I can expect the same quality. I am very pleased with the overall construction (students and teachers love the machines as well). Finally, it’s very simple to use. Create, download to an SD card (included) and drop the SD card into the printer = Print.
