I have been buying this style Timex watch for well over 25 years. Obviously I like it, but I have a small wrist so it requires the removal several links. I have always purchased at Walmart because they perform this adjustment for free....until now. Thus I went Amazon to find the watch, expecting that I would need to see a jeweler for the adjustment - however- this watch was reported to have an easy to adjust band. There was even a video on how to remove links. I am not handy and was skeptical... but followed directions and easily removed 6 links. WOW--what took them so long. It fits perfectly. I have a 6.25" wrist and this band was very snug. Thankfully I had a Timex that had a date window ( which I hated) and my husband switched the bands for me. Don't see how this would fit a 7.5" wrist unless someone had already taken links out.

My wife is in a nursing home and I did not want to leave her very expensive watches with her there. Also, she needs a watch that is very easy to put on and off. This Timex watch is nice looking with a face and clear black numbers so that it is easy to read. It's "spydel type" band makes it easy to put on and take off; however, the band is not as flexible as a "real spydel" band. ... show more
