Very nice product despite it having some gimmicky features. Excellent clean and easy to use; that being said, it has way too many different modes and an unnecessary light on the bottom of it. Accessories are readily available for reasonable prices and the charging system is very good. I cannot tell the difference between the modes and will never use them. However, the 3 speed control is very nice and easy to use. Philips nailed this toothbrush out of the park so I will not deduct any stars for all the extra "features". Unless you are upgrading from some ultra-premium electric toothbrush, you will be running your tongue along your teeth for hours after each brushing admiring how clean they are. Update: about exactly 7 months after ordering mine stopped working. Called Philips late on a Monday and got a replacement on Thursday! Great customer service, was only a few minutes of hold time and they kept me informed of the replacement status via email the whole time.

I bought the black one and pink one. The black one was for me and so far has lasted me 2 years and still going. I decided to buy the pink one as a gift and it dies 4 months later! Not happy. So black Sonicare diamondclean - 5 stars Pink sonicare diamondclean - 1 stars UPDATE: went from 3 to 4 stars because I used the Philips chat online to get a replacement handle for the pink one. It came in like 2 days. But I can’t give 5 stars because the first one had an internal malfunction in it 3 months later. But the customer service was 5 stars. Your toothbrush has to be under the 2 year warranty to get the replacement. Update2: eh I decided to change to 5 stars because Philips did resolve issue in 2 days. I just hope the malfunction in the first pink toothbrush was a rare occasion.

I’ve toggled between manual toothbrush and electric toothbrushes for a decent amount of time however, I recently settled on the Philips One toothbrush. It was a nice step up from a manual toothbrush but this one… blows it out of the water! I recently purchased this toothbrush and honestly, I don’t know how/why I’ve gone so long without investing in a tool that I’ll use daily and has such a substantial effect on my quality of life. Pros: The vibrations are STRONG! They don’t hurt or anything but, they definitely make cheaper alternatives feel like a child’s toy. The toothbrush is rechargeable, no more fumbling through junk drawers scavenging two AA’s in an attempt to brush your teeth. There are about 4/5 different settings and some even utilize there own specific brush heads. There is a light around the base of the handle that lights up to inform you when/if you’re brushing too hard. With this toothbrush there is no need to vigorously scrub your teeth, just place it over your teeth and let this bad boy do all the work! You know that feeling when you leave the dentist after a cleaning and you keep rubbing your tongue along your teeth because they’re so polished and smooth? While not quite a replica of that feeling, this toothbrush can definitely come close to recreating that feeling daily! Cons: While not a major concern for me, I feel it’ll be benefited to share the fact that this bad boy can be a little loud. It is to be expected with a toothbrush this powerful so I don’t knock them for it but, I wanted to at least mention it. If you make the mistaking of wetting your brush head and turning on the toothbrush before it is in your mouth, expect a mess. The strength of this toothbrush will result in a mirror splattered with enough toothpaste to put a frat house bathroom to shame. That’s an exaggeration but, it will get everywhere if you turn it on before it’s in your mouth. Overall: This toothbrush is phenomenal! If you’re on the fence but can swing it, I say go for it, you’re investing in yourself. If this price point is too steep for you, definitely check out some less expensive electric toothbrushes, they still outperform manual ones. You teeth will thank you.

Ordered June 1st. Was totally in love with this toothbrush. Sure, the charging base was quirky, but I’m ok with quirky. What I’m not OK with is the total and inexplicable death of this toothbrush less than 3 months after I ordered it. It didn’t even give any signs that it was going to die. It just died. ETA So I ordered a new toothbrush, and when it arrived I tried to see if it was the charger or the handle that was dead. Apparently it was both. I got no response regardless of which handle was on which base. I proceeded to brush my teeth with an old head on the new handle. Meanwhile the old brush was still resting on its old charger because I just didn’t feel like dealing with it. About 15 minutes later I noticed that the “dead” handle was charging! I was pretty shocked. I turned it on and it was vibrating perfectly, so I put it back on the charger so it could get a full charge. I also set the new handle on the new charging base. My husband is getting the new set.

I'll start by saying it took a lot of effort to find comparisons between the 9000 model and the 9300. Should not have been that difficult, but I figured I'd share my experiences / observations with others to simplify the search in the future. To start, my GF last month received the 9000 model for her birthday and her love of it encouraged me to pick up my own, the 9300 model. Here are the differences between the two: - 9000 has limited edition colors (Purple & Blue), 9300 has just standard ones - 9000 comes with only 1 toothbrush head - 9300 comes with 3 different toothbrush heads - 9300 Comes with both the short charging platform as well as the cup - 9300 has a light at the end of the toothbrush for visual notifications - 9300 is compatible with the mouth diagram in the app where it tracks areas's you've not brushed well - 9300 comes with a lager, 'upgraded' travel case So onto my personal opinion: - Not sure the 9300 is worth the added cost, ~$30 difference. You get the extra two tooth brushes, but they are not the same models. I like to just stick with one brush type, not sure I would have bought the other two if needing replacements. That said, the brush heads are very expensive, averaging ~$15 each, so for the extra $30 you are essentially just buying 2 extra heads. - The upgraded travel case, honestly I like the basic plastic one that comes with the 9000 is better IMO. The fancy one is larger / takes up more room if packing in your luggage. Plus the outer material from what I can tell is flimsy and will easily rub off / flake off in time and will look terrible. That said the 9000 case is difficult to open vs. the 9300 case (magnetic), but the 9000 case is far more secure so it doesn't accidentally open in travel. - They both appear to be the same handle visually. Same buttons, same cleaning modes, same battery indicator. Only difference is that base light and possibly a difference in App functionality. That said the App is not all that accurate, I see myself giving up in time on the zone control and just using it for reminders and tracking of frequency brushing my teeth. - I got the 9300 in black, it looks slick but any toothpaste dribble shows like no other. I mean it helps encourage me to rinse it off more / wash it off more than I did with my old model, but some may not appreciate how easy toothpaste shows on the handle. So if you want to get the 9300, it's a good deal because it has the 2 extra bushes, the fancy case (if you're into that kind of thing), possibly more functionality on the app as well as the little flashy guy light. But if you don't want 3 different brushes, are prob like me where the apps appeal will wear down / you won't end up using it, etc. I would save your money and go with the 9000 due to the additional color options. Oh, and no the 9000 does not come with the charging cup, but the cup is a bit ridiculous. It takes up extra room sitting on your bathroom counter, it collects dust, etc. More of a gimmick vs. actual functionality. PS: It cleans and works great as expected of a Sonicare. My old one was 9 years old, this one is faster, quieter, and the battery lasts longer. Good upgrade for sure. Hope my review helps.

Worth every penny! After my last Sonicare Diamondcare toothbrush base stopped working and I couldn't find the box with the receipt because I am in the middle of moving I decided to just replace it for now and if I find the paperwork use the warrantied one as a backup or give it away. I looked to Amazon and discovered that Philips had come out with some pretty cool new technology for the toothbrush. The Bluetooth enabled handle and brush head that interact with an app looked pretty awesome and while they were a bit more expensive than just replacing my previous toothbrush in kind, this one came with 8 brush heads which helped to make up the cost difference to me. The very first day I got it I could tell it was more than just your average toothbrush. The packaging itself was luxurious and nothing like the boxed of the past. The toothbrush arrived ready to use for the first time, no need to charge, you can do that after. And that first clean is a doozy! Make sure you are prepared to have your mind blown. The intensity is amazing and after my teeth were as smooth and brilliant as when I step foot out of my dentist chair. The price tag may be a little bigger than most would want to pay but it is well worth it to have such clean teeth .

This unit is amazing, while it actually functions. This is the third diamond care unit I have personally owned, and also the third unit to cease functioning (each unit only lasting a year or less). The first unit's metal shaft (where the toothbrush head attaches) became loose and started making a loud buzzing sound, which progressively got worse until the brush no longer pulsated. It had never been dropped, and I had always been very careful with how I handled it. I contacted Phillips in order to receive a replacement, as the unit was still within the 2-year warranty, and was informed that I would need to return my current brush to them before they would ship out a replacement. I purchased a cheap battery operated toothbrush to use in the meantime and received a replacement diamond care in about 1.5 weeks. The replacement arrived and functioned for about a year. Once again, the exact same problem happened. Mind you, this time I was even more careful with with the brush. At this point, I was incredibly annoyed by the quality of this product. I'm not one of those people that expect to purchase a device and expect it to last forever, but at around $170, I DO expect it to last for longer than a year. Around this time, I noticed that Phillips released a newer version of the brush with smart features and presumed that perhaps they worked out some of the bugs. Apprehensively, I opted to purchase this new model rather than go through Phillips for another replacement of the same apparent dud. I purchased this smart edition (9300 series) on January 31, 2018. Today it is August 15, 2018 and I already began having the exact same issue with this unit about a week ago. Once again, I contacted Phillips to have it replaced and was told that I would need to send the unit in prior to receiving a replacement. I will use this replacement, whenever I actually receive it, until it inevitably ceases to function, but I will never purchase another product from Phillips. Between the terrible quality of their products, and the fact that they make you send in the malfunctioning devices prior to receiving replacement, it is very frustrating. These units still function as ordinary toothbrushes when they aren't turned on. I shouldn't have to go out and purchase a replacement brush while waiting on a replacement, especially after having spent almost $400 in less than 3 years' time. Unbelievable.
