The Timex easy reader has a good look for most any setting, it keeps good time, the metal band does pull my hair but I have hairy arms and it's not that bad, besides it came with a leather band also so if it bothered me that bad I would just change the band.

My husband is very pleased with this watch and its well-fitting band. Fingers crossed that it lasts longer than the woman's Timex watch I bought, which self-destructed after a few months. I’m 70 so I like the easy reader. Like everything about the watch except the date display. You would think the easy reader would have a larger date or magnifier. I can not see the date, just a black spot. They should have left it off.

I bought this watch after continually have problems with my fancy "do everything" computerized watch. I don't need my glasses to read it, I don't have to scroll through anything just to see the time, and if it's dark I can light up the face. The band doesn't need to be replaced every so often because it wears out and breaks, I don't have to charge it at night, and it comes on and off easily without having to fiddle with a clasp or buckle. I can just push it up my arm a little so it doesn't get wet while washing my hands. Wonderfully fuss free! I love it! Edited to add: the band was a little big for me, and I took it to a jewelry store to have one of the links removed. It fits perfectly now and this fix was well worth it. ... show more

I love this watch beautiful and simple to work! I fortunately have small wrists so the band fits perfect. For guys with hairy or big wrists you will probably get some pinches and hair pulls. Recommend you get a bigger watch band. Perfect for me because most watch bands are so big you have to take out about 6 links to fit small wrists. ... show more

I got this watch from the Warehouse. Be careful to view the thumbnail since it might differ from the item pictured. In my case, stainless and gold plated, the bracelet looked more expensive in the Warehouse thumbnail and in fact did once received. Also since Timex batteries are so longlasting, older stock is not much of an issue. The bracelet is great with plenty of stretch. I would also opt for the smaller watch since the face is so clean and the numbers so readable that the watch looks bigger on. My only comment is that I wish the second hand were thicker.
