Interesting. Used to have an old wood cook stove. Like this book you could cook many of these recipes on a conventional stove. I miss the old antique house and the Crawford range.

It gives great tips on the CARE of the stove, which our great grandmothers may have not told us OR it passed in one ear & out the other. Great recipes to try. Short & sweet. A good bit TOO short. Much of the book is a cookbook, whereas I was looking for information on the Woodstove itself.
