We designed extra large soft toes for our Ballast work boots to maximize your all-day comfort on the job site with their generous internal volume. Starting with Premium Timberland full-grain leather uppers, we utilized Goodyear welt Cast-Bond construction for durability and added essential electrical hazard protection, a steel shank for structural support, Anti-Fatigue Technology footbeds that absorb shock and return energy with every step, and breathable, moisture-wicking linings made of ReBOTL material containing at least 50% recycled plastic. Plus, to ensure your traction in all weather conditions, these boots feature heat-, oil-, slip-, and abrasion-resistant, non-marking, lightweight TPU outsoles.

Bought this in April of 2023, local big ag retail store, no complaints about Amazon, but this book particularly.... the arch support is non existent, as flat footed as they come, but I wanted a light weight work boot for general use and cdl truck driving. My break in process for good new leather boots is: soak in hot water, wear until dry, let it form to your foot, then oil....I had to put in a timberland pro arch support insole and rip out the oem one, and because of the fit, went through my break in process 3x... and it still took 2 months to break them in. Towards the end of July I noticed the outsoles coming apart... see pictures, if I flex my foot just right I can get the whole arch area to separate (how I caught it the first time). I give 2 stars because in the 6ish weeks so between break in period and coming apart, they WERE comfortable, grippy, sensible, stylish enough... but at the end of the day it's sad, these were recommended to me by a mechanic who had had a bad experience with timberland when they first went downhill, it seems that they are still just hit and miss, I could have saved $60 and went with the ol 6 month Walmart brahma or spent an extra $60(ISH) on GOOD boots that would have been more comfortable, and lasted .5-1.5 years longer.... to all my working brethren, please spend your money elsewhere, you deserve better. To the occasional weekend warrior: this or cheap Walmart brahmas? I'd pick this....if I didn't need the extra money for food, gas, beer, tp, literally anything else, because you are really only gaining a small amount of comfort for a short lived period. ... show more
