Fit is good; had a pair prior. Main use for me is yard work including mowing. Occasionally run into snakes and feel more comfortable in boots.

I work in a die cast foundry. Going by the step counter on my phone I walk 8-10 miles a day on a concrete floor covered with oil and sharp aluminum flash. Normally a pair of work boots lasts me about 3-4 months, and I've tried probably a dozen different brands at different price points from cheap $20 throwaway pairs to expensive $200 pairs that haven't done any better than the cheap $20 throwaways. I'm on my second pair of these and the first lasted over a year, my current pair is about 3 months old and the soles are still in very good shape. Only complaint: the padding around the ankles is very tight and rigid when new, but after a few weeks to break them in they're fine.

There is a reason some boots are for hiking, and some for working. These last much longer and are firmer. The hiking boots are more comfortable but don't last more than a year. So buy the model designed for what your going to use it for

My husband loves these work boots. He has tried many brands over the years, and we just bought his second pair of these. He works in construction and is hard on his boots, and his first pair lasted about a year and a half. He says they are extremely comfortable and durable and hopes they never stop making them.
