Very disappointed with these boots. I just wrote a whole descriptive review on these boots and when I tried to upload the photos it just crashed so I’ll just give you the basics. Pros: they fit nice when broken in They looks nice when they’re fresh out of the box. Unless you have my same issue... Cons. -They squeak every time I take a step no matter how I arrange the tongue or my laces or anything. -the tongue on the left boot sits straight while my right one does not no matter how I arrange it or tie my laces. And it bothers the hell out of me throughout the day walking. -some days I feel as if they don’t fit the same they way they did the day before. Weird. Maybe it’s my different socks. But it’s noticeable —MY BIGGEST ISSUE. The sole of these boots are outrageous. I don’t know what it is about these boots but they leave a well noticeable wet mark that later turns into a stain. You’ll see it in the pictures from day 1 to current in order. It’s so embarrassing I honestly don’t want to wear them to work. I buy these $140 boots expecting top quality and I get all these issues. I’m very disappointed in these boots and would not recommend these to anyone. I bought these with confidence and they’re my first ever boot purchase with my own money and honestly. I regret it. It came with cuts and marks on them as soon as I took them out of the box and I knew I should of returned them then. But I decided not to be too picky. And now I screwed my self. These compared to my Walmart dickies which are $50. Is incredible. I’ve never had this issue with my other boots and they’re 1/3 of the price. Overall I’m just extremely disappointed and embarrassed to even put them on and walk around with this disgusting stain on each side of my boots ... show more

I haven't yet worn the boots outside, but just walking around the house on the carpet the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots feel like I am walking on air. The sole's are very thick giving the feel of thick comfortable cushioning when i walk. The outer leather material is top quality. The shoelaces however are thin and do not really allow you to properly tighten the boots on your feet. I plan to replace the laces as soon as I can get to a Foot locker or Academy Sports. I am really looking forward to wearing the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots on my Motorcycle. I bought the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots as a 2nd pair of riding boots for my Motorcycle (MC). I already have a pair of Steel toe Harness Boots for riding my MC. They are my dress up boots when I am riding, The Steel toe Harness boots look fantastic BUT they are very dressy. I go the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots because they have a more hardcore MC look to them. Plus, I didn't want to always be in my Steel Toe Harness Boots when I am riding, as they were several hundred dollars and I don't want to wear them out. Currently, out of the box, in the house, the Timberland Pro Direct Attach 6'inch steel toe boots are amazing. I will UPDATE this review after a few weeks of MC riding. 5 years later: I'm still wearing these boots in 2017 and they still look good. I wear them at wrk, and when riding my motorcycle. These boots are well made, durable and worth every penny. Sad day😑 in Aug 2019 my Tmberland Pro steel toe boots passed away. These boots were worth their wait in gold. I used them to do Bodyguard work, Security work. They saw a lot of fighting an kept me upright in bar fights with the wet ground. Unlike some other boots that almost got me killed. Plus, I use these boots to race motorcycles at 150mph+. Can’t say enough about these boots. So, with that in mind I just bought a NEW pair. ... show more

I really like the pro-steel-toe boots, I feel that the left one is a bit larger on my foot. After placing a comfortable inner sole they fit great.
