I am not sure if the bad reviews were just duds because I bought this for my husband in 2022 and it is march of 2025 and the battery JUST died. We def got our moneys worth out of it. I bought this for myself last year and glad I did. It was very easy to set up and works perfectly with my Samsung phone. I travel frequently and now I can check the status of my luggage. Great peace of mind knowing my suitcase has arrive where I am. I pinned it in the zipper area inside my case. Small invisible and not in the way. Also it won't accidentally fall out. It's tracked my suitcase every time I've used it. Happy with my purchase. Bought 2 more as gifts this past holiday season.

My tile mate was a great device until it stopped working 5 months after purchase the tile mate does not have a replaceable battery and it is touted to last 3 years but... it didnt last 5 months before the battery died. tile mate comes with a 1 year warranty ... I contacted tile through my tile app... and within a few hours they're already sending out a replacement. If you want to be able to replace the battery get a tile pro which doesn't appear to be available even from tile.com

this product works amazing i promise! it’s not as reliable as an apple airtag due to its lack of real time tracking but the speaker is very loud and easy to find and i’m not sure how i would live without it! also it fits perfectly on a key chain since it’s not too big the range is perfect being 50 ish feet and the accuracy is decent as sometimes it tells me it’s in a different place than it actually is

I have used this for awhile and has come in handy when I needed it. It is very well made and is very easy to use. Will buy more when these run out but so far they have lasted a long time.

I got the Tile to put on my bike, primarily so my wife can keep track of where I am during my ride, but also in case my bike is ever stolen. I tested it around the house and it finds my bike just fine, and I can use the audio beep in case I'm really having a bad day. However, on 2 separate tests of the the "Tile Community" to find me and my bike when away from home, I was disappointed. Tile said there were around 1,000 Tile users in my "circle" which, according to the map drawn probably had at least 200,000 residents. On the first test, I went for a 60 mile bike ride through some generally heavily populated areas, and Tile found me only 3 times, according to my wife's attempts to find me. All 3 times, it found me at very busy intersections where traffic was heavy and I was probably stopped at a traffic light waiting to cross a busy street. On the 2nd test, I went for a 30-mike bike ride in some more remote areas, although always within a short distance of developed areas. Tile could not find me even once. I understand the limitations of the technology, but I'm wondering just how effective Tile can be as a tool to recover lost or stolen articles. Unless your stolen or lost article ends up at a busy intersection, or in downtown Manhattan, I'm not sure it would ever find it. If me or my bike are lying in a ditch somewhere on a lightly traveled road, I don't think Tile will ever find me either. So bottom line is yes, it's a great tool for finding your keys, wallet, of whatever around the house, but keep your expectations low that this will help you track and recover your stolen items.
