i’ve had this tile for 4 years now and it still works good as new. it tracks constantly and was easy to set up. it definitely reminds me that i’ll always know where my keys are just incase they’re stolen or lost. i definitely recommend.

If you've ever misplaced your keys or you wondered where your spouse/kid/friend left them, spare yourself grey hairs and stress. Get a Tile. The Good: The Tile pays off its investment the first time you lose the item it's attached to. Load up your app, search, and close in on your target like a shark or sub. Feel free to make Jaws noises if it eases your mental well-being. Setup requires syncing the Tile to its own app on your phone. Yes, yet another app -- but this one at least is a valuable utility. Connecting the device and my phone (Samsung Galaxy S23+) took seconds. Really user friendly all in all. The Tile is durable, fairly lightweight, and unobtrusive on my key chain. It slips on and stays on to do its job. Basically, it acts as a tiny buoy waiting until you activate the app to find it. Anything with a key ring or chain is fair game for a Tile, at least with this design. You could easily stick one in a box, an inner compartment of your luggage, or somewhere else stationary. The Bad: The Ugly: It's pretty expensive for what you get - - a product with a 2-3 year battery life. I don't like the battery cannot be replaced. This isn't very eco-friendly or consumer friendly. For that, I remove a star. Verdict: 4/5 stars. An excellent product but the non-environmentally friendly battery design is a flaw. ... show more

    • Only lasted 16 months
It works okay for short distances but the range is pretty limited, maybe 100 yards. Once out of range, the app on your phone will just tell you where it lost contact. So it will let you know if you left your item at home or work or some place but it won't give you real time monitoring once you are out of blue tooth range. My real complaint is that I purchased this in July 2024 and the battery ran out at the beginning of December 2025. So it only lasted 16 months. And I didn't know the battery was dead until I needed to use it in January 2026! I'm trying to figure out how to get it replaced, I feel I should get a free replacement since it lasted less than 1.5 years. I will update this once I know that situation. ... show more
