We placed one on our Pups harness and one on my granddaughters backpack. They work well and update around every 15 minutes or so. I would like it to be more often but I understood the limitations when I purchased it. The integration with Life 360 makes it easy to use and good way to double check the location. These have a more sturdy metal ring on the part that attached which is a big improvement over the ones before that would always wear through or snap off. For the product to function optimally, you must be in an environment with substantial user participation. Compared to the Apple tags, I believe the Android Tile hardware is equal to or better than the performance of the Apple product. To achiever the same level of real performance, Android users participate. To some extent, that means giving up a tiny bit of privacy . Until the Android mind-set changes, we will be behind Apple. The Tile product is superb about locating the tags at moderate distances. Coupled with the location history, the product worked well. Not real time tracking, but enough to track everyday things. Bought the two-pack for my mom and I, since we both lose our keys around the house from time to time. Much smaller than I'd anticipated, but not small enough to track a slim wallet without buying the Tile Slim (prefer a replaceable battery one). Setup is straightforward. What I didn't realized that beyond the Bluetooth range, it can track somewhat like a GPS tracker, just not in real time. Updates about once an hour or every half hour. Super helpful when you misplace your keys or phone! The setup was easy, just download an app and scan the QR code inside the package. Explaining how it works was also easy. I chose this model because you can change the battery once it dies after 3 yrs (I think that's how long it lasts) unlike the smaller tags. It was also a plus that it came with two tags. Best part is that there is a button on the tag, that you click twice, which allows you to call your phone if you only have your keys. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more
