This item arrived as advertised. I wanted an large flame in a Tiki that I would not have to refill over and over throughout the night. It looks really good on my patio as well. I read a few reviews about leakage. Make sure you follow the directions and not over fill. I overfilled one of the torches and it did leak. After removing the liquid to the appropriate level as specified in the directions, I've had no problems with leakage. The assembly is really simple, and I had the torches operational in a matter of minutes. The poles could be a little sturdier. But by no means is that comment meant to say it isn't sturdy. It holds up very well even when completely full. I've only had it for a week now and I'll update this review in a few more weeks to discuss durability. We got rid of some older tiki torches for these. I was a bit hesitant because the reviews were so mixed between these and the other style. I am super glad I did it. They are VERY nice to look at, the flame is large and bright so it really lights up our deck when we do a fire pit out front. AND its so easy to fill (no longer do you have to pull the rusted gross container out and struggle to get it back in), just twist pour and twist back. Buy them now! ... show more

first of all I like the look of the torch. it's the nicest looking one of them all to me. substantial and sticks out as a decoration.. there are a couple things wrong though. 1. the friggin chain that holds the snuffer to the torch is made out of toilet paper (it seems).. I bought two and broke both of them off on accident even after trying to be especially careful with the second one. 2. the torches with the little foot pad that you drive into the ground are MUCH better than this design. tough to get it in the ground at a somewhat straight angle. I used a little auger drill bit to start a pilot hole and that made it easier. 3. The "easy pour" feature seems bad to me. definitely makes it easier to fill, however unless you remember to twist and shut these ports after each use, I suppose it will "easy fill" with rain. ... show more

I order 4 of them and returned them. When I light them thought all was fine till one caught fire had to use a fire extinguisher to put it out. The other 3 also had leaks in them but was able to snuff them out. The company sent me 2 and I even put a little fueled in it but still leaked. I believe it is the inner container that didn't get sealed good enough. ... show more
