The media could not be loaded. My experience with the safe so far has been 5-star. When it arrived, I was worried because the corner of the outer box was crushed. But when I opened it there was another very sturdy box inside that was very well made, with thick walls and handles. I was impressed and not surprised at all that the sage was in perfect condition when I opened the inner box. The biometric scanner works well. Both my wife and I have multiple finger prints on it. We have two number pass codes to get into it. Then there are two keys. So far we’ve only had to use the biometric scanner. The scanner is fast and the safe East to open. On the inside, there’s plenty of room for my two hands guns, cases, and ammo. As well as the large hunting knives that I have. We have also started keeping our ss cards, passports and birth certificates in it; with room to spare It can be secured through holes in the back or the bottom. It’s not fire proof. My son just got a night stand lock box for his guns, now he wishes he’d gotten this one! 2022 12 - Update Review I'm soooo impressed with this safe. It continues to be secure and work as advertised. I expected to be changing the battery in it at least once a year, but its working as strong as the day i unboxed it. This safe was more expensive than others this size but I liked the idea of the fingerprint opening which is faster. However that was the one thing that I could never get to work properly. I must have tried programming it 30 times, washing my hands inbetween, and it worked once to program my finger but then stopped opening it. So frustratng. The metal sides are thin and a very thin piece of material was on the bottom. Hardly any protection. I decided to install some softer thicker fabric on the shelf and bottom to better protect my valuables. I like the option of bolting it to the shelf with precut holes because it is not deep enough to secure to the wall behind and have it line up with my other shelving. Customer service answered my emails quickly and offered a replacement thanks to the one year warranty but they did not have the white color that I needed to match the shelving next to it. So I will keep working on the fingerprint issue to see if I am doing something wrong. Have watched the videos numerous times as well. Maybe I will get lucky one day. I am tenacious. UPDATE: I was able to finally program the fingerprint. Not sure why it worked but maybe because I flattened my finger more or just got lucky! I kept the safe! Long warranty and customer service is really good - super fast on return emails. They surprised me with a little gift for all my trouble. Very nice! ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this safe! The color is beautiful. It’s very sturdy and easy to use. Just follow the instructions provided. I love the fact that it has an alarm and a light inside. The alarm comes in handy, especially if you have children. You have the option to use the key or keypad. I put my key up in case of an emergency. I prefer the keypad. There’s also a feature that allows you to put the code in without it displaying on the screen. I bought this safe to hold my two guns (S&W 45 and S&W 38). One big and One small pistol. I also have 4 boxes of ammo in the safe as well. Very roomy! GREAT BUY :) ... show more

    • Overpriced Tin Bread Canister
While taking this tin can out of the package, I dropped it and the door came off and bent a metal clip. It's supposed to be a safe, according to this, all anybody would have to do is throw it against the floor and it would come apart. There you are, you're in the safe. After some diligent work, I got the door back on. For the quality of this tin box, I would expect it to sell for no more than 50 dollars. Sure expected a lot more for a 130 dollars. I wouldn't trust this toy box for anything of much value. There you are, I have told you the TRUTH of the tin box that I received. Another fine product of China's best. Cost a nickel to make a product, you pay a dollar... 02-02-21: In all honesty, I could use my hand and twist off the plastic dial on the safe. The other reviews MUST have received a different safe than I did. I DO NOT enjoy giving bad reviews, I tell you the honest truth.
