I try to write a review for every Anker product because I love the progress the company has made over the years. I AM SO SATISFIED WITH THE DESIGN OF EACH PRODUCT. Colors are fantastic and everything I buy from Anker holds up so well even after legitimate daily or eve specific use. This charger in particular is great because it meets my power needs and is in the right shape and size to where it fits in my bag well. I hate the bulky charger I have to use for my HP laptop so I've gotten a USB -C to HP barrel tip charger cable and use it with this charging block. Works perfectly. I think the charger just knows how much power to deliver to my laptop and other different ones too because even with differing power needs it always adapts. Had this charger for almost a year, I bought so I wouldn't have to lug the big HP laptop charger around, especially in between work and university. It has worked perfectly since, I got a cable to charge my iPhone and both charge fast and efficiently. My one slight complain is that the block is still clunky enough and the cable sometimes too short that it is a small inconvenience sometimes - so keep that in mind - but its a great product that I nonetheless recommend. I have a Lenovo legion slim 5 14.5 inch. The 170 watt bring is a pain to bring to school and work. This little 100 watt brick is amazing for travel. Performance wise I can’t even tell the difference, the battery doesn’t even drain unless I am doing the most demanding tasks like gaming, but I really only game with the 170w brick at home. I purchased this charger in January and was initially very happy with its compact design and fast charging capabilities. However, about five months in (early June), it started acting up. It no longer charges consistently — I have to fiddle with the cable to get it to work, and even then, it often loses connection. For a premium charger from Anker, I expected better durability. Disappointed with the short lifespan. Update: Anker team contacted me recently to resolve my issues and helped out promptly. The media could not be loaded. This Anker 100W USB-C charger is excellent. It charges quickly and reliably, and the compact, foldable design makes it very portable. It is easy to carry in my bag without taking up much space. The included 5FT USB-C cable was the perfect length for what I needed—not too short and not too long. Compared to the bulky 45W barrel charger my device originally came with, this one is a huge upgrade. Not only is it sleeker, more space-saving, and more visually appealing, but it also supplies more power. With the old charger, my laptop would slowly lose battery if I plugged in my headphones while charging. With this Anker, that’s no longer an issue—it keeps up effortlessly. Everything feels sturdy and high quality, just what I expect from Anker. Highly recommend if you need a reliable, travel-friendly charger for your MacBook Pro, iPad, or other USB-C devices. After testing too many chargers on Amazon that advertise 65W or 100W but fail to deliver under real use, this Anker charger actually performs. My Acer laptop pulls the full 100W without issue. No throttling no power drops just consistent output. That puts it ahead of most of the junk on the market. The build quality is solid. The charger has a compact form factor and the prongs fold in cleanly. The included 5ft USB-C cable is feels durable not the usual cheap plastic. For under 30 dollars this feels like a fair deal considering what you get. On safety this matters a lot more than most people realize. Many Amazon listings skip safety certifications entirely which is reckless. This one is not UL certified but it is certified by TÜV which is a well-regarded German safety agency. In my view that carries equal weight to UL and tells me the device was properly tested. If you are looking for a charger that actually does what the specs say this is it.
