Overall I am VERY happy with the purchase. But I wanted to pass along a couple of observations in case it matters to you. Sturdiness: It is made of plastic. But the quality and fit are excellent, no sharp edges, plastic is thick and doesn't flex much. I give sturdiness 4 however because the mouse pad when angled is only supported on the right side. If you watch the demo video carefully, you will see it deflect when the user moves a mouse on it. Presumably the pad was only supported on the right to make room for the storage area in the tray. This really is no big deal for me because I don't need the mouse pad to be angled. But if you want it angled, you might want to consider this. Value for money: When comparing to similar trays prior to purchase, this is significantly more costly than many of the trays made of wood. I am used to thinking that plastic should be cheaper than wood. However, the inexpensive wood trays were all made of bamboo, and there were lots of reports of cracks and warping (it is bamboo, after all). I give it 4 stars in terms of value because I really didn't need the light, fan, and USB ports. But admittedly these features are value-add for many users, in which case if you need these items then value for money would be much higher for you than for me. Still, I am glad to have paid more for a sturdy plastic tray than for a bamboo tray that is subject to warping and cracking. Leg room: I am 6'3 and 185 lbs, and when I first set up the table I was worried about leg room. Turns out it is no problem. The legs are extendable to make the tray sit higher, but when using it in bed I find that the optimal position for me is not to have the legs extended at all! Hope this helps. ... show more

I was looking for something to place my laptop on while I was relaxing in bed at night. I looked at reviews on many items and although I wasn't that crazy about a 'plastic' desk, this was the closest style to what I was looking for: something with variable height, sturdy and durable, plenty of leg room. Although when I ordered it I thought it was a little pricey, I was pleasantly surprised when I received the desk. It seems that sometimes you get what you pay for...... I love this thing. It is sturdy and not cheap feeling or looking. I have never even thought it would tip over while on the bed and it fits well over my legs (I am a little more than average weight) and is a good height for me. I have enough room for my 15.5 in laptop and mouse. The fan is good and works well, it's not too loud. The light works good, I don't need it and haven't used it very much so it tucks out of the way on the side. The USB hub area works good as well, you can store the cord under the laptop area. The mouse pad has a nice feel and seems durable. It is a good height for me (I am 5'8"). It has a little weight because of the sturdiness and I like the fact that you can fold the legs all the way in and store it away. I've had this for about a month, so if anything comes up I will update my review, but so far no complaints at all. ... show more

If you're looking for away to convert from atable or desk to a stand up computer workstation, this item just might be the ticket. We're full time RVers and I needed something to help with ergonomics when spending alot of hours in remote work. This little table is quitesturdy and stable feeling, fits my 15" laptop just fine (and yes, it overlaps the mouse pad a little), the mouse pad is quite large, and it fits my galley table perfectly and I don't plan on tilting the computer section or teh mouse pad. I didn't need all the bells and whistles this has, but the tilting sections to "snap lock" into place when closed, the little reading light is a nice touch (requires batteries) and having storage under the 2 sections is nice for things like the included USB cable (needed to run teh cooling fan) and other small items. Cooling fan works well and is very quiet. The onboard USB hub doesn't appear to work, but that's a non-issue for me. I already have a good hub. But it does mean only four stars because of the USB hub, an issue that was mentioned in several reviews. The legs don't jave any rubber/non-skid padding. To avoind any slippage I'm using a bit of non-skid shelf liner and that seems to do teh trick...so be aware, on a smooth surface...it could skid out and onto the floor. All in all it's a good little option. Now we'll see how it does in our travels. ... show more

After some research and searching, I decided to get this nifty little desk over its competition. So far, I'm extremely happy with it! I love the extra usb ports, they're great for both my gaming and artistic needs. I also like the fan to help cool off my laptop, which tends to run hot while I'm playing games and needs good ventilation. The plastic is thick and durable, and feels like it was built to last. No flimsy parts or rough plastic edges. Plenty of room for my mouse and the storage compartments are also nice. Overall works nicely for my needs. ... show more

I got one for my wife and she absolutely loved it. I seen how much she used it around the house and even had it set up in really good spots. This item was so cool. I end up buying myself one bcuz of one particular feature. This can have the legs unfolded and propped up like a stand. I’m not a tall guy but I don’t like being hunched over when I’m on my laptop at the kitchen counter. I don’t necessarily like sitting all the time at a desk with it. So it became a portable desk which is excellent. I recently received it and love it. Haven’t had much time using the fan just yet, but the light, mouse pad area, and compartments are great. I can keep useful items inside it like cables for charging, my mouse, and even my iPhone 11 Pro Max under the mouse compartment. Side not if for some reason you play music full blast on your phone and close that compartment it muffles it in a nice way. When you open it up you can definitely tell the music was muffled. I SO wish I could give this a higher score. I want to love it so badly, and I DO like it. I use it practically every day. But it’s materials let it down. If it was made of something other than plastic, it would be great. But the legs wobble when you try to collapse it, and the grooves that hold the legs open are just that, grooves that a plastic tab fits into to hold the legs open. I have to leave it open all the time for fear that the plastic is going to wear away and destabilize the whole thing. The plastic tabs that hold the second compartment closed broke almost immediately, so now the second drawer is useless. I even had to take it shut because it kept flipping open. That being said, the design of the computer side works wonderfully. The fan helps my gaming laptop’s cooling system extremely well. And even in the raised position the laptop is sturdy and I never feel like I have to worry that it’s going to fall off or that the shelf is going to break. If this thing had better legs and drawer construction, it would be a 6/5 for me. ... show more

To the maker! I love this. I'd like a variation for a gaming laptop if you think its a good idea. 1) No need for legs, rather, have a soft option for resting on my legs. The reason is that its hard to get it on and off the bed with legs extended, and tends to risk heavy gaming laptops falling off. 2) Make and option for a lower restraint for the laptop (it currently has 2 flaps that lift up so you can keep the laptop on the table when its raised. However the placement is really bad for a 15 inch laptop - I keep getting the flap digging into my wrist. However, if I dont use at least one, it slips off. 3) Mouse Pad section - Rather than have it swing up (mouse just slips off!) have a way for it to swing out to the right, providing a bigger area, and a more natural position for the mouse hand, at about 30 degrees from straight ahead. What I love: Plenty of legroom, large attached mousepad, 4 extra USB ports for charging things (Love this since my laptop only has 2 usb ports itself), Bright LED light that snaps into place under the tray while not in use, the fan works well, and there are several angles to choose from to tilt the tray, and I like the extra room to store small things under the tray. I also love that this desk almost forces me to sit with my screen a proper distance from my eyes! I used to sit with the screen way too close, and the desk fixes that. What could be better: I wish the area where the laptop sits was centered relative to the desk's legs. I wish the mousepad had a soft area to rest my wrist, and that there was a lip at the bottom edge of the mousepad so the mouse wouldn't slide off if I have the whole desk tilted. I wish the flexible cord the light is connected to was a bit longer. And while I like that there are two settings for height, both are too tall for me, so I am using the desk with the legs folded away and I sit the desk on my lap. Overall: I like it a lot and I'm going to get a lot of great use out of this desk! I recommend it especially for students studying from home. ... show more
