Great overall deal! Camera: TieJus by ZUMIMALL - 2K Outdoor Security Camera I have 3 different versions of ZUMIMALL cameras and they all work perfectly. The newest version is this 2K TieJus outdoor camera and it has the best picture yet. I use them as security cameras. Almost any camera can give you a good, crisp picture during the day but this latest version has a great picture at night too! Take a look at my attached pics. Camera Setup: Setup is quick and easy if you follow the instructions exactly. Make sure that you reset the camera before starting and make double sure that you hear the "who-who" response before moving to the next step. The camera will respond "waiting to connect" but you are not finished. When you hear "setup complete" it will take a couple of seconds and then will connect. Camera Operation: The app is required and works well with multiple cameras. I have 4 cameras spread across locations that are 650 miles apart on different wifi networks. Naming is critical if cameras are location specific. Tip: there is a setting that keeps the camera in color mode for night vision. That was needed for one of my cameras. Read the warning though. Tip: You have to be careful and not put the camera near something that moves in the wind. You may get a false positive alarm in heavy wind. Tip: The only drawback for me is that the USB power cable is 15 feet long. I bought a cheap USB 10 ft extension and it works fine. I'm still playing with the strobe light and siren but I don't want to scare my neighbors since it is very "noticeable"!

After reading some of the reviews on these cameras I decided it was more operator error and impatience than defective functionality of the cameras. I found the setup to be fairly easy and after having to redirect one of the cameras to its main picture location they both seem to work great. I did get a laugh out of our neighbor one day as I had inadvertently set the system to alarm vocally “you are under surveillance” so every time she went out into her carport the cam would hear her and vocally warn that she was under surveillance. She texted me and I found the setting and turned it off, we both had a good laugh. I am thinking that perhaps these cameras would be great replacements for our EZVIZ cameras as they seem to have the ability to track human movement where our EZVIZ cameras are stationary. Still thinking about that as they are mounted on top of both front corners of our roof to watch our neighborhood for vandalism. The local police department comes to us if there has been any activity on our street nearby and look at our cameral coverage and frankly the EZVIZ ability to fast forward, etc falls flat compared to what the TIEJUS cameras can do.

This is my first camera so I have nothing to compare it to. Three weeks in… Pros: 1) Price 2) Installation (I’m a 62 year young lady and easily drilled the holes and mounted it outside). I ran the power wire through a door for now and it’s working great. 3) WiFi connectivity. My camera is mounted outdoors and connected to my indoor modem. It showed 100% when I was setting it up outdoors. 70% installed outdoors. Works fine. 4) The app controlled features are cool. I have tried manually capturing video, turning on the light, moving the camera around (the range is amazing), and two way talk. All work great. Note that they seem to work better when I’m on WiFi than when I’m using cell service away from home. 5). Don’t know if I’ll need it, but I subscribed to the $30/yr cloud storage. 6) The motion detector and alert seem to work great. The weird thing is that it doesn’t alert or capture a pic until the person is out of the car. Same thing with the light. It doesn’t come on when a car pulls in; only when it detects a person. I don’t know if that’s a feature control I haven’t figured out yet or what. 7) Never have to change a battery or pull an SD card. 8) I’ve had no motion alerts for the cats or chickens that wander across my driveway multiple times each day. Cons: 1) Only one phone can use the full feature app per camera. I guess it makes sense because you couldn’t have two phones manually telling it what to do. There is a way, according to the manual, to share the live feed with another phone. I haven’t taken the time to figure that out yet. 2) No battery means no cam in a power outage. 3) The motion detector feature that makes the camera follow the person works, but not great. But the camera cost less than $30 so… 4) I’m having issues with the electric circuit switching off intermittently since I installed the camera. Could be a personal problem with my house’s electrical set up. IDK. 5) The siren and audio warning/strobe light features are pretty weak. Questions: Not sure how it’s going to work in winter. After three weeks, I had my first false motion alerts yesterday during our first snowfall. But it was only two so IDK? It seems that icy weather will freeze it and we’ll lose the awesome range to move it left and right and up and down, but that is yet to be determined.

I bought the about 6 months ago with the mfg 128gb memory card now both of them dont recognize the memory card and want you to buy their cloud base subscription.. I have reset and completely deleted them from my account and added them back and they still will not recognize the memory card that came with the camera. Have tried other cards to no avail. Its like they want you to buy their cloud services for .99 a month or else. I bought 4 of these because the first to worked well and now I can't send them back. Waste of Money unless you are going to go with just a cloud based camera. I don't need another cloud account to keep up with.
