If you’re looking for a reasonably priced range finder then this one is for you!! Hubby needed a new one (admittedly I stole his) and we’ve heard great things about TideWe so we figured we’d give them a try. This is an awesome little range finder. It’s very small, which is one thing we both like about it and it’s accurate! It works well in low light. If your in dense woods at last shooting light is when it starts to be iffy. I had an issue because small branches kept getting in my way, but if you hold the button it will give you the range as you move it so you can determine the right distance even when those pesky limbs get in the way! It has a speed feature too. I would highly recommend this and have since stolen it from hubby 😂

A while back, I bought, and returned, the aluminum-bodied, Mini version of this TideWe range finder. That one was too small for my hand and did not have a dedicated lanyard attachment point. When I saw the HR-F700 was on sale I bought that. . This size is much better suited to my palm. The discrete round buttons are also easier to get to by feel and the rubber covering provides a good grip. It’s large enough but still small enough to fit in a coat pocket. I feel it is much more secure with a wrist strap that is attached via a dedicated strap point - I won’t be dropping this one! The all-plastic body is indistinguishable from the aluminum of the Mini. It feels just as durable and solid, but lightweight. Best used with your glasses off and with the TideWe against your face for the optimum view. . The accuracy of the distance readings is better than the 1 yd stated in the specs in good conditions. Ambients, like fog and rain though can throw the readings off. . My only minor issues with this rangefinder are two-fold. However, regarding the price, I can’t complain. - The reticle is non-illuminated black and disappears against a darker background - For very close distances, the focus ring brings the view into focus but the reticle then goes out of focus. For ‘normal’, longer ranging distances though, both the view and reticle are in focus . This has to be the best value range finder on the market. It’s accurate, pocketable and works great in most situations. I’m keeping this one!

I’ve been using the TIDEWE Hunting Rangefinder on the range and during hunting trips, and it works. The readings are quick and consistent, whether I’m ranging targets at 100 yards or pushing it further out. The 6X magnification is clear and sharp, making it easy to lock onto targets. The multiple modes are genuinely useful; distance, angle compensation, speed, and scan all work as advertised. Angle mode is especially handy for elevated shots, and scan mode makes tracking moving targets really easy. I also really appreciate the rechargeable battery; it’s one less thing to worry about compared to constantly swapping out CR2s, and a single charge will last for several trips to the range or the woods. It feels well made and doesn’t feel cheap. The camo finish has a nice texture and blends well in the woods. It is water resistant and has handled light rain without issue. The included carrying case is a nice bonus and protects it well in a pack. Overall, this is a reliable rangefinder that performs like models costing quite a bit more. You can spends lots more money on the high end models if you feel like you need to, but this one does everything I need it to do. It is a great value for hunters or shooters looking for accuracy, convenience, and versatility without breaking the bank.

Very happy with this rangefinder. I have used it several times, spending several hours per session, using it. Super easy to use. Battery life is excellent, its accuracy is fantastic, I have tested it at known distances, 100, 200, 400 yards. So happy with this fair priced purchase. Well done TideWe.
