I am reviewing a container of ultra Tide Oxi pods laundry detergent. I have been using the pods for a number of months. I wash all of my laundry in cold water in an energy efficient washing machine. Every load comes out clean, stain-free and smelling fresh; the pods are effectively strong for my laundry needs. The worst stain I removed was when I spilled hot turmeric tea all over the front of one of my favorite cotton tops; my turmeric tea is a cup of green tea with a level teaspoon of powdered turmeric dissolved into the hot liquid. A turmeric stain is very difficult to remove. I sprayed the stains with Dawn Platinum, let it soak into the fabric for 30 minutes, then washed in cold water with one of the Tide pods. The cotton top came out with no turmeric stains. The detergent did not cause any allergic reactions on my skin. I get a lot of wash loads out of one container. I save money on my monthly electric bill by being able to get clean laundry in a cold water wash. For me, the quality and value is excellent. I give the Tide pods two thumbs up. ... show more

Only stuff I use! One pod is sufficient for a small load to efficiently and effectively cleaned the first time. The seal on the container keeps the pods nice and fresh and doesn’t allow them to dry out. I love the pods because they are so easy to use and I can trust my older kids not to go overboard on the detergent when they do their laundry. There are 5 people in my family and I go through one container of the 50 something pods a month (but I have three girls who think it is necessary to multiple wardrobe changes a day 🙄). Does what you would expect from Tide.. odor free clothes, stains out, doesn't dissolve well in cold water...pod packet residue as most pods...works well in warm and hot water.

So I recently purchased these after trying many other options. I was making my own homemade detergent, trying different pod brands as well. However, nothing compares to Tide! I am floored about how clean these tiny packets of goodness gets my laundry. Very easy to use, effective and efficient! The value for money is great in my opinion ( being that I am an extreme coupon queen). I store them in my laundry area next to my washer so they don’t take up much space. which can get pretty hot but they still hold their shoe even in high temperatures!
