I’ve tried other detergents over the years, but I always come back to Tide. It’s true—nothing cleans like Tide. My clothes come out clean every time, and the original scent is fresh without being overpowering. I’ve noticed that with some other detergents, my clothes smell great right out of the wash, but if they sit in the closet or drawer for a week, they develop a weird musty smell. I don’t have that problem with Tide. My clothes still smell fresh when I pull them out to wear weeks or months later! I am reviewing a container of ultra Tide Oxi pods laundry detergent. I have been using the pods for a number of months. I wash all of my laundry in cold water in an energy efficient washing machine. Every load comes out clean, stain-free and smelling fresh; the pods are effectively strong for my laundry needs. The worst stain I removed was when I spilled hot turmeric tea all over the front of one of my favorite cotton tops; my turmeric tea is a cup of green tea with a level teaspoon of powdered turmeric dissolved into the hot liquid. A turmeric stain is very difficult to remove. I sprayed the stains with Dawn Platinum, let it soak into the fabric for 30 minutes, then washed in cold water with one of the Tide pods. The cotton top came out with no turmeric stains. The detergent did not cause any allergic reactions on my skin. I get a lot of wash loads out of one container. I save money on my monthly electric bill by being able to get clean laundry in a cold water wash. For me, the quality and value is excellent. I give the Tide pods two thumbs up. ... show more
