    • Handy and portable...but not great for cars
I got this mini air pump for xmas my son who is in college, in case of emergency. Sure enough, he had low tires a few times on very cold days. He went to use this and said it didn't have enough battery to inflate even one tire. To be honest, I wondered if he was using it right or keeping it charged correctly. Now he has brought it home for the summer and several of us have had a chance to try it. And we've learned a few things: - In fact you do need to keep it charged (via USB-C) or it loses charge even when not in use. So it's not really for keeping in your car, which was my intent when ordering it. - If it is fully charged we found that it could inflate 2 slightly low tires (from 28 to 32) but not more than 2. - On the other hand - I LOVE it for my yoga balls! And my other son who bikes to work LOVES it for his bike tires! Works fast, easy to use, easy to read, easy to hold. - We also like that it has a variety of nozzles, that everything fits in the bag, that it has a flashlight, and that it can function as a power bank if it's charged up. BOTTOM LINE: 5 stars for household items; 3 stars for car use ... show more

If your aim is to keep this in your car for an emergency situation, you might have a bad day because it doesn't retain charge for long, you would actively need to charge it frequently. It also loses power fast while pumping a car tire. If your aim is to have it plugged in at home and pump up your bike tire, then it's the perfect product.     • Great but not for vehicle tires
This portable inflator is really good but just as others said it’s better for bikes or balls. I tried filling up my tires with it the other day but it kept dying. My tires should be at about 32psi so the other day we had a severe sudden drop in temp and my tired deflated just a smidge down to 28-31. I first filled the one that was 31 and that was fine. The next two were reading at 29 and it got 30 when the battery died and this thing was juiced up all the way. On the other hand I used it a couple days before to fill 3 bikes and no issues. It’s pretty portable and has a great little flashlight and digital display but the sad thing is just like any other battery product you can’t store it in your car during extreme cold or hot weather. I live in Houston where it’s pretty much HOT about 10 months out of the year so this would mean I would need to carry this which is kind of heavy with me everywhere I go so it doesn’t fry in my car. Otherwise it’s pretty good but for small things like bike tires and balls just not vehicle tires. ... show more

TICARVE Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor, 150PSI Cordless Air Pump for Car Tires with 5000mAh Battery Digital Electric Tire Pump with LCD LED Light for Cars, Bikes, Motorcycles, Balls I was excited to get this product because of it's size to easily store in the car for emergencies. Unfortunately that quickly faded on first use. Pros - Compact - Included reasonable flash light - Multiple attachments for different valves - Great for small tires like scooters and other small items that need air. Cons - Poor performance - Poor battery life - Poor battery storage life - The connector for the air hose gets really hot at connection to pump. Could cause blister hot. - Not recommended for cars To test this product, I deflated one of my tires to just 15 PSI to see how it would handle a top off. Unfortunately that's all the testing I needed to do. Battery quickly drained to two bars before it had even put out a few PSI's. It was able to pump 18 PSI in 10 minutes before giving out. The pump itself was warm to the touch but when I grabbed the adapter to screw the air hose off, I nearly singed my skin. It was extremely hot. Mind you, this was only 18 PSI of use. You are better off getting one that plugs in to your 12v car outlet. More power, more reliable and can do all tires if needed. Otherwise, invest in a cordless one that stores well and can do more than one tire or at minimum, one tire on a charge. However, if you need it for small things, this will be a nice convenient pump to have around. Because of this I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. ... show more

It's a little bit loud, and a little slow, but it does exactly what it needs to do. My daughter is a relatively new driver who just got her first car last year, so I grabbed this for her to hold on to. She had only ever put air in her tires once before at a gas station, and she was able to figure out how to use this in just a few minutes. Controls are simple and easy. This is a good Compressor for small items. I would take this to quickly inflate balls or camping equipment. It would probably be great to have on an extended bike trip! Battery life doesn't really hold up to inflating car tires. After my initial tests, I don't think I would want to rely on this for an emergency during a road trip.... ... show more

My tires are always losing air for some reason. This works great to keep in the car for the times that this happens. It does have to be powered via USB. It comes with a tire gauge, which is more than I can say about any of pumps I used to use. This keeps me from having a blow out on the highway like I did recently, before having this little, handy, easy to use tire pump. ... show more
