After receiving a reference book I bought online, the author added 3 supplemental chapter, which he made available as downloadable PDFs on his website. This binding machine made it possible for me to bind chapters into their own volume after I printed them out by myself. I am sure this binding machine could be used to produce a copious quantity of bound material, but it would be slow, tedious, and inefficient to attempt big jobs in a short amount of time. If on the other hand, you only need to bind a few copies of something infrequently, for example a training manual of some sort for your office, but often enough that it's not worth it to outsource the work to a professional service, then this machine might be all that you need. One limiting factor is the low number of paper sheets it can hole-punch cleanly at a time. Usually no more than 8. I found out the hard way that no matter how few sheets you hole-punch all at once, for the best result you will need to pull the lever 3 times before removing a set of sheets to ensure that all of the waste paper is thoroughly cleared from the holes being punched. Also, it takes finesse, and a keen eye, to learn how to utilized the motorized coil-installation-roller, and the associated plastic "book rest" (for lack of a better word) that you can use to keep the unbound pages at just the right orientation and distance from the roller in order to help the roll spin the coil through all of the holes. I figured it out, so I have no doubt that you will too.

There is a slight learning cuvre, but it sure makes for a nice presentation. Overall, this purchase perfectly matches its description and I am extremely satisfied with the product. It definitely deserves a five-star rating and I would purchase again!
