I got these to hold some of my research notes and story notes. The binder lives up to its name as a better binder. The seams are made to be used a lot without having the wear and tear you get from normal binders. I love the variety of colors that they come in. The label spot is easier to change out if needed. The curved spine allows it to be easier to grab off my bookshelves. The rings inside lock in place very well. (I have bought several of these and only had problems with one). With the number of papers that this holds, I can dedicate one to each of projects. They do come in different sizes, so you can get the size you need for your project. I first bought one of these because of the price but have since bought enough to replace all of my other binders. According to my 8th grader - these are the "best binders out there". He has 3 from 7th grade that are still usable and will be moving up to 8th grade with him. anything that can withstand abuse by a middle schooler deserves more then 5 stars in my opinion.

Big! Has a slip in plastic cover on the front but not on the back. Inside front cover has a slide in plastic flap from the side. Back inside cover doesn’t have anything. I needed a bigger 3 ring binder for all the hula choreography in plastic sheets for lots & lots of dances.
