This is a good machine for what I need. The spinny thing to put the binding coil in doesn't work that great & it's loud. I just put them in by hand. I really wish I could find a machine that would just cut the holes without having to pay the extra for the machine coiling part.

It’s working well as a teacher!! I wish I could punch more pages at once, but this seems standard across most models. Sometimes the coil catches and doesn’t bind smoothly, so you have to do it by hand. Otherwise, have patience and offer up the tedious booklet building for your students, who you love! Yay generosity! ;) ... show more

    • Works wonders
I am a homeschool mom and I have wanted a spiral binding machine literally forever. I love being able to make slim spiral notebooks and not have a bunch of binders everywhere. This works great. Only downside is it's weight and bulkiness. But if you have space for it, I would highly recommend this.

I am so glad I ordered this. I am a writer and make my own set of guides, organizers and small books. I was going to a local printer but now can do everything I need with this binder. I do wish it would cut through more paper, especially for the price. And the price point is where it loses a star… all you need is the holes punched. I suppose if I was running 100+ coils through the holes then the electric part might be useful, but it’s so easy and fast to manually run the coil through that I haven’t used the electronic part yet. It’s not necessary for me, and there ought to be a much less expensive version that doesn’t include the motor. But the puncher works well, and I’m quite pleased with how professional my bound books look. ... show more
