  • Very effective binding machine
This is a great little machine. I use it to bind musical scores, and it's perfect for the purpose. It is easy to use and does a beautiful job. I have used the power roller to put in the coil, but it's hardly necessary, as it's almost as fast and less error-prone to do it by hand. My only caution is not to try to do too many thick sheets at once: it feels like it wouldn't handle that well. ... show more

  • I love this! Great investment
The media could not be loaded. Not much for directions and guidance but I figured it out and I AM OBSESSED! This is perfect idea and I’m so happy I invested in it. My first project was 128 pages and though I did less than 10 pages at a time, it felt as if it went by quick. It was easy to add the coil in — I rarely used the electronic part. I’m so so happy with this. I’m looking forward to all I create with it! Wow and obsessed ☺️ Easy to use. Hole puncher works great. It has everything you need. No issues lining the pages up. I am impressed. Wow — ... show more

  • This has been a game changer for me!!! Easy affordable
Game-Changer for My Planners & Journals! I’m obsessed with this binding machine! It punches clean, smooth holes every time and the coils go on so easily. The handle is sturdy, the machine is heavy-duty, and it feels like a professional setup right at home. I’ve already bound multiple planners and workbooks with zero jams or frustration. The coils and pliers included were a huge bonus. If you make journals, planners, or any DIY books—this thing is worth every penny. Highly recommend! Very durable. No stickiness. ... show more

  • Super easy and works well!
This was my first time using a coil binding machine and it couldn’t have been more easy! I definitely recommend this product especially for the price point compared to other brands. I will be using this all the time for homeschool curriculum and other projects. Definitely worth the investment. Great quality and seems very durable. ... show more

  • Useful Device with Lousy Instructions
When this arrived the other day, I did up a bunch of Christmas-related books using all the necessary materials I had assembled: front and back covers, 1/4-inch plastic coils, finished pages of text, and the ready-to-go hard-sided mailers. For the most part, the binding machine worked well, but the instructions supplied were laughably inadequate. I understand that a person can go to YouTube and find videos on nearly anything, including, very likely, step-by-step instructions for brain surgery, but it is slack and thoughtless service to those who spend money buying something from a company for them to fail to include directions sufficient to permit proper use of whatever it is. They should not depend on third-party help. Also, the auto-binding feature, which permits, so the promotional material asserts, the automatic feeding of coils through the holes in the unbound matter, thus saving time . . . if it works. Experience taught me that the holes in covers and pages must be close to exactly lined up for this to have a hope of succeeding, especially at the speed the motor drives the coil forward. I was very, very careful in hole-punching and in pages/covers alignment, but even so, I wound up feeding the coils through by hand. This was not a huge issue, but one must learn how to do that effectively as well, given that it also is not explained worth a hang (and the auto-feed system is not addressed at all). Another thing. When the sparse instructions say that 12 sheets of 80-gram (roughly 21-pound) paper is the maximum amount it will punch, it is not kidding. I took 12 sheets of standard 20-pound photocopy paper (I have never heard of 21-pound paper for sale) and began measuring the 32-pound paper I was using in my project against it and discovered that seven sheets was about the same height. In fact, it would punch seven sheets, but I doubt that eight would have made it, so do take the caution about this seriously. Finally, I'm not sure where these folks think the bulk of their English-language sales is taking place, but I would bet that it is in the U.S. That being the case, the metric measures they use (e.g., 80 gram paper) is a hassle to deal with that would have been simple for the manufacturers to avoid simply by inserting common English units of measure alongside the metric ones. Not doing so was a bit of user unfriendliness that served no purpose at all except to create irritation, which very likely does not enhance sales. ... show more

  • Great Customer Service!
I was really excited about this product, and it worked perfectly! However, I was disappointed when it stopped working after about 6-months. The manual it came with said it has a one-year guarantee, so I reached out to the manufacturer. They got back to me right away, and when I provided proof of purchase (my amazon invoice), they sent me a replacement! I will definitely buy from Tianse again! ... show more

  • Worked great FOR A WHILE :(
Product worked well for about a year and now 2 of the holes won't fully punch through so it makes it extremely difficulty to punch and bind. They often get stuck and I can't pull the pages out. I would love if the company would replace the item.

  • Easy to Use
I'm using this for home projects so it won't be heavily used but it seems to be for this purpose. It's not huge, which I like--only about 15 inches wide--space is at a premium in my office/sewing room/crafting room. The hole punch works well--up to 12 sheets--I usually don't do quite that many. The electric coil fastener is interesting--I had never used one with that feature. The main thing to remember about that is all the sheets need to be lined up the same when punched and you start the coil in the holes and then put it against the machine to finish it up. You do have to hold the pages tightly and just right to get good results with that. ... show more
