This is a great little machine. I use it to bind musical scores, and it's perfect for the purpose. It is easy to use and does a beautiful job. I have used the power roller to put in the coil, but it's hardly necessary, as it's almost as fast and less error-prone to do it by hand. My only caution is not to try to do too many thick sheets at once: it feels like it wouldn't handle that well.

The media could not be loaded. Not much for directions and guidance but I figured it out and I AM OBSESSED! This is perfect idea and I’m so happy I invested in it. My first project was 128 pages and though I did less than 10 pages at a time, it felt as if it went by quick. It was easy to add the coil in — I rarely used the electronic part. I’m so so happy with this. I’m looking forward to all I create with it! Wow and obsessed ☺️ Easy to use. Hole puncher works great. It has everything you need. No issues lining the pages up. I was really excited about this product, and it worked perfectly! However, I was disappointed when it stopped working after about 6-months. The manual it came with said it has a one-year guarantee, so I reached out to the manufacturer. They got back to me right away, and when I provided proof of purchase (my amazon invoice), they sent me a replacement! I will definitely buy from Tianse again!

I was unsure how this would work but it is wonderful. I have made multiple books, planner, and workbooks. My only downside is the spirals don’t like to go through the holes nicely. Not sure if it’s user error or something else. I also liked that it came with spirals to use first. I’m a teacher and plan on using it for many activities.

I'm using this for home projects so it won't be heavily used but it seems to be for this purpose. It's not huge, which I like--only about 15 inches wide--space is at a premium in my office/sewing room/crafting room. The hole punch works well--up to 12 sheets--I usually don't do quite that many. The electric coil fastener is interesting--I had never used one with that feature. The main thing to remember about that is all the sheets need to be lined up the same when punched and you start the coil in the holes and then put it against the machine to finish it up. You do have to hold the pages tightly and just right to get good results with that.

Perhaps the most important aspect of any paper punching device is the presence of a mechanism inside that guarantees the holes will be punched perfectly parallel to the paper edge. This is even more important when you're preparing a 200+ page document for binding. Or a 24-page document (the 12-page limit on this device would require two batches - good luck!). Unbelievably, this product does not contain that ever-important parallel-hole mechanism inside. You will understand this when you insert the test cardboard they kindly provide for removing the manufacturing oil residue. You will feel that there is nothing inside to align the edge, and there's a good 20 degrees of angular freedom that will produce the utterly unacceptable results I've shown in my photos. There are two adjustments you can make - one for paper size (no parallelism guaranteed with that tiny piece of plastic), and another for setting the distance the holes will punch from the edge. Moving that second control with paper in the unit will only reinforce your understanding that there's nothing inside to guarantee proper hole alignment. If you have 12 pages or less to bind, and multiple copies to try (since parallel hole punches will be purely coincidental/lucky), then this unit may be just what you need. Otherwise, you will be returning yours as I just did with mine. Now, to try to find a properly designed ring binder..... I won't consider another product from this manufacturer. So it's good to have many many options. The quest continues.... The phrase "you only had one job..." applies well to this product.
